What is shelf rental?
Where there are high rents, limited budget and a small product line it seems the only option is to sell online and hope you can attract the right customers to your website or page. It is easy to pay for ads to drive traffic and still not achieve many sales. We have been in this position!
We are now introducing Rent a Shelf in Malta. A shop in the heart of Sliema where your products can be displayed. Customers can view, touch, smell and purchase easily. You have the opportunity to advertise your products in the shop, including details of your website so repeat orders can be purchased online as well as in store. It’s a great way to grow brand awareness.
As long as your product is packaged (if appropriate) and priced we manage the day to day running of the shop and the sales (though you are welcome to visit us and your products as often as you like). We will always contact you if stock is running low so you can pop in to restock your shelf. Any feedback received from customers will also be passed on.
No deposit or long term commitment is required.
Shelves and shop areas are rented out on a month to month basis so there is no obligation to renew any further than you want to.
Prices start from €50 per month (depends on size of space required) and is paid in advance of the start of the month. One week’s notice to remove your products is all that is required.
Proceeds of sales (less commission) are transferred directly to your account at an agreed schedule. Terms and conditions will be clearly defined in the contract.
