🏷️ 𝐕𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐁𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐤 𝐑𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐓𝐰𝐢𝐧-𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐕𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐥
A piece with real presence
This striking black pottery vessel has the kind of form that feels primitive - a generously rounded body, narrow neck and two sweeping loop handles that give it the silhouette of an old amphora or storage jar.
The surface is what really makes it special. Horizontal ridges run around the body, giving the piece wonderful texture and highlighting the handmade quality of the form,
while the deep charcoal-black finish keeps it beautifully understated.
Small irregularities, surface variation and signs of age only add to its character.
It works perfectly as a standalone sculptural object, but would also look incredible styled with dried branches or simply left empty on a console, shelf or floor beside other collected pieces.
It measure approximately 25 from its widest part.
There’s something wonderfully raw and architectural about it - the sort of object that feels as though it has already lived several lives before finding its way here.
