⚫ L'Ayatollah Ali Khamenei est mort

Le Conseil suprême de sécurité nationale a confirmé son décès à la télévision d’État iranienne. Le guide suprême de la République islamique d’Iran, Ali Khamenei, est décédé à la suite des frappes conjointes menées par les États-Unis et Israël, samedi 28 février 2026.

L'Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, âgé de 86 ans, avait dirigé l’Iran depuis 1989, façonnant la politique intérieure et extérieure du pays, notamment son rôle dans les conflits régionaux et son opposition aux puissances occidentales.

Fervent défenseur de la cause palestinienne sur la scène internationale, l’Ayatollah Ali Khamenei avait longtemps été perçu par beaucoup comme l’un des rares dirigeants régionaux capables de tenir tête à Israël et à ses alliés. Pour des millions de personnes, il n’était pas seulement un homme politique : il était un symbole, une présence obstinée dans un paysage géopolitique marqué par des rapports de force inégaux.

Au fil des décennies, sa rhétorique et ses positions ont fait de lui l’ennemi juré d’Israël. Et lorsqu’au plus haut niveau israélien, des responsables ont reconnu publiquement la pression exercée pour amener les États-Unis à frapper conjointement l’Iran, beaucoup y ont vu non seulement un acte militaire, mais un message politique lourd de signification. Aujourd’hui, avec l’annonce du décès de Khamenei, un moment qui secoue non seulement l’Iran mais l’ensemble du Moyen-Orient, c’est une figure paternelle qui disparaît du paysage politique régional.

Pour la Palestine, pour ceux qui voyaient en lui un appui face aux puissances israélienne et américaine, c’est une douleur particulière. Ce n’est pas seulement la mort d’un homme d’État. C’est l’effacement d’une ombre imposante dans une zone où les voix de protection se font rares.
