A Christian priest has warned that the humanitarian crisis in Gaza remains ongoing, saying the suffering of civilians continues despite global attention shifting elsewhere.

In a post on X, Munther Isaac said the situation in Gaza should not be viewed as a past event, stressing that blockade, hunger, and killings are still part of daily life for Palestinians. His remarks come amid growing international concern over worsening shortages of food, medical supplies, and basic necessities in the besieged territory.

“The genocide in Gaza is not in the past tense. The blockade, starvation, and killing continue—this is still the present reality. Lord, have mercy,” he wrote.
