Rikaoto By ME was founded in 2009 by Maryam Elisha, to fill a void she noticed in the Nigerian beauty pageant industry. As a pageant contestant/beauty queen, finding suitable dresses that were locally made was an issue. She soon resulted to designing her own dresses. The complements she received and enquiries soon paved way to the establishment of the Rikaoto Fashion Services so other pageant cont

estants won't have to worry about finding that unique dress. Today, Rikaoto by ME is a long way from just serving the pageant industry. The brand, recognised for its exclusive and chic designs, is a top choice for pageants, red carpets, weddings, reception and evening wears and its clientele cuts across industries and the country's borders. Rikaoto has featured in numerous fashion shows both locally and globally and is recipient of various awards, including The Designer of the Year award, 2016. Rikaoto by ME contributed in rewriting the perception that "it has to be imported" by designing unique, original and exotic styles.
