I've always wanted my own silence. Missing those days I have time and silence on hand. Missing those days I got to do it my way. But today, I don't feel regret nor sorry to self, but grateful and amazed, I could still have it even in a different way.
As a new mom, I'm really having a hard time to set my devotional routine. There are times I will be successful but larger chances of failing. But today, I am amazed to realize I am growing in faith without a routine. My heart is getting closer to the source even without a schedule. It is true that when you got to be a mom, all your time is praying time. All your time is seeking, and asking of His guidance. I may be longing for that intimate quiet still time to enjoy His presence, but just the thought of me desiring to have that time, growing and being excited to have it, is but a victory to me. Because afterall, that is what I desire. To desire Him all the days of my life. To long for Him. To spend time with Him.
Just writing my heart now, how God can turn your setback in a deeper revelation of your heart's current state. No need to frown or to be sad at all, God can meet you whenever and wherever you are, you just need to be open to hear and obey Him.
