‘SUCI means PURE in the Malay language. In this collection, it represents simplicity-minimalism. No gimmicks, no celebrities, no big sets, just pure fashion. We experimented with clean lines and minimalistic tailoring, in expression of purity in fashion. The concept of tradition is re-examined and abstracted through suiting and shirting techniques in silhouettes of traditional Malay fashion at its most sleek form.’ - Kel Wen.
