Atelier BM would like to take this season greeting opportunity to wish all our Muslim customers, channel partners and suppliers to have a remarkable Mawlid al-Nabi. May everyone have a blessed festive season.

Mawlid Al-Nabi or Maulidur Rasul (commonly in Malaysia) is celebrated by Muslims all over the world to commemorate the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), or in full Abu al-Qāsim Muhammad ibn ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAbd al-Muttalib ibn Hāshim was born in Mecca on the 12th rabi’al-awwal of the Islamic calendar.

Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), is the last messenger of God, the best role model to humans with the morals of Holy Qur’an. He is good mannered, generous, selfless, humble, patience and always reminded Muslims on being kind and benevolent.

The Atelier BM would like to wish all Malaysians a Happy Malaysia Day on 16th September 2024. Please be informed that in conjunction with Malaysia Day, the Atelier BM’s premises will be closed on Monday, 16th September 2024.

As we celebrate this beautiful day, we are reminded of the strength and diversity that unifies the people of Malaysia from Sarawak, Sabah and the Peninsular. Let us remember the words of Tunku Abdul Rahman during his Malaysia Day speech on 16th September 1963, which reads “let every Malaysian…ensure that our Malaysia is truly worthy of the aims and hopes we have shared, the trials and stress, we have endured, in working together to achieve our common destiny.”

Bidwin Molundim [BM] is a native of Sabah. He had keen of interest in sewing and designing clothing since young that lead him to pursue his career in the fashion field. He completed schooling at SMK Kota Marudu, Sabah and sign up for a Design Technology Programme (Textile and Fashion Design) at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS).

He graduated with outstanding academic achievement in 2015, having been on the Dean’s List Award 4 times and selected by the Faculty Panel for PETRONAS- P. Ramlee Chair Award which is the Faculty’s excellent student award, representing Design Technology Programme from UNIMAS in that same year.

Bidwin’s various talents include Textile Design, Fashion Design, Computer Aided Design (CAD) for Textile And Fashion, Garment Construction and Tailoring. His designs have always inspired by his stylization with modern and sophisticated, the North of Borneo’s charateristics.

In 2016, he decided to establish a small business focused on his stylization in Ready-to-Wear (RTW) fashion and provide Made-to-Measure (MTM) tailoring services in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Bidwin was one of the Participating Fashion Designers in Borneo Fashion Week 2018, Borneo Fashion Week 2019 and 2nd BIMP- EAGA Budayaw Fashion Show 2019 (Invited as Sabah representative by BIMP-EAGA Business Council [BEBC] Sabah).
