I first discoverer SKIN1004 Malaysia Madagascar Centella through a friend. She told me about Centella, so I thought, why not give it a try?

I started using it, and somehow I really liked it. I liked how it felt on my skin, and most importantly, I felt that it suited my skin. From there, I started buying it myself online, even through TikTok.

At 44, I’ve tried quite a lot of skincare products over the years. And when you’re getting ready for a fashion show, of course you want your skin to look good, fresh and healthy, especially when you know you’re going to be under the lights and in front of so many people.

So this time, preparing for my final fashion show, taking care of my skin has become part of my preparation too.

It’s not about perfect skin. For me, it’s about healthy skin, feeling good in my own skin and getting that natural glow.

Funny how something that started with a friend simply recommending Centella has now become part of my journey towards the final runway.

From trying it for the first time, to actually loving it, and now bringing it with me through fashion week.

A heartfelt thank you to Hotel Indigo Kuala Lumpur On The Park for the wonderful hospitality extended to Hatta Dolmat, our celebrity performance and red carpet guests.

What made this experience even more meaningful to me is how closely Hotel Indigo connects with what I celebrate through my own journey: fashion, art, creativity and culture.

I’m celebrating 20 years of Hatta Dolmat through fashion and art, so walking into a hotel that puts so much thought and effort into art, design, heritage and sustainability really felt like coming into a space that speaks the same language.

From the lobby to the art installations and every little detail around the hotel, you can feel the effort behind the storytelling. I genuinely found myself stopping and appreciating the details because there was always something connected to art, culture or creativity.

The rooms beautifully bring Malaysian heritage and culture into the experience too, giving international guests a little piece of Malaysia through design and storytelling. I think that is what makes Hotel Indigo special. It is not simply a place to stay, but an experience that allows you to feel and discover the character of Malaysia.

And of course, the comfort, hospitality and breakfast were amazing.

Thank you, Hotel Indigo Kuala Lumpur On The Park , for making our stay so comfortable, inspiring and memorable. I truly see a little bit of myself in Indigo. I really do!

I honestly cannot put into words how grateful and happy I am with the incredible backstage hospitality provided by Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur to the entire Hatta Dolmat team, our backstage crew, makeup artists and models.

Preparing for a couture segment is never a simple process. It takes hours of preparation, careful styling, makeup, hair and fittings, and most importantly, a comfortable space where the team can work and the models can prepare without feeling rushed.

Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur gave us exactly that comfort and space. It allowed our makeup artists and hairstylists to focus on creating the final looks, while our couture models could prepare comfortably before stepping onto the runway.

Your hospitality truly made a difference to our entire backstage experience.

A heartfelt thank you to Concorde Hotel Kuala Lumpur for taking such wonderful care of our team and for being part of the Hatta Dolmat 20th Journey.

We truly appreciate your support and warm hospitality.

Fun fact: Concorde KL has always been special to me.

I once worked here part time as a banquet staff, and in 2003, we stayed here after I won the Young Designer Award.

Now, years later, Concorde KL is part of my Hatta Dolmat 20th Journey.
