A Wedding That Was Truly Their Own
If we had to describe this wedding in a few words, it would be—
a little traditional, a little unexpected, beautifully romantic, and filled with a lot of laughter.
It began with the warmth of a Chinese wedding, surrounded by red and gold.
Then came the kilts.
The groom put on his kilt, his friends joined in, and somehow the morning turned into its own little kilt adventure. 😂
And then, they brought it all to the sea.
Blue and white flowers lined the aisle, the sunlight danced across the ocean, and their family and friends gathered by the water to witness the beginning of a new chapter.
What made this wedding so special was the way two different cultures came together so naturally.
The red and gold of a Chinese wedding.
The traditional Scottish kilts.
The blue of the ocean.
And all the people they love, gathered in one place.
There were plenty of beautiful moments.
But some of our favourite moments were the ones that were never planned.
A friend making everyone laugh.
Someone quietly wiping away a tear.
Guests holding up their phones to capture the moment.
Bubbles flying everywhere.
And that quiet embrace between two people who had just become husband and wife.
Because a wedding isn’t only about how beautiful the flowers look, or how perfect the decorations are.
Years from now, when they look back at these photographs, we hope they remember something much more important—
everyone they loved was there.
They laughed together.
They cried together.
They celebrated together.
And for one beautiful day by the sea, different cultures, different stories, and different lives came together for the same reason—
to celebrate them.
From the red of their Chinese wedding,
to the blue of the ocean,
to the laughter in between,
this was a day that could only belong to them.
May you always keep choosing each other,
keep laughing together,
and keep finding reasons to celebrate the little moments along the way.
