I got a cold, because that day I avoided wearing the troublesome scarf. This store bought scarf was very long, but even that, it was hard to stay tall and still to cover half of the face. If I didn't strangle myself with the long cloth, I will be happy.
So I finally decided to remake it into a neck warmer, which I believe would be more functional.
I love the chunky stitch, it builds up easily, and I got it done in about a day. Added the ribs and button as the final touch. (It's making me want to make a full chunky sweater!)
I'm enjoying how versatile it is. Can be flipped up and down however I want. It's also quite sturdy so it even covers the back of the head.
As my mom always said, the beauty of making something yourself is that you could make something that totally suits your taste and need!
