✨Assalamualaikum and happy friday everyone✨
Among the mistakes some Muslim women make in dressing is revealing their arms and allowing their arms to be seen by non-mahram men. The limits of women's aurat are the whole body except for the face and forearm, according to the opinion of some Ulama.
Based on a hadith from 'Aishah Radhi Allahu Anha, she said:
"Asma' bint Abu Bakr once met Rasulullah shallallahu‘alaihi wa sallam,
she was wearing thin clothes. Then Rasulullah shallallahu' alaihi wa sallam, turned away from her and said, "O Asma, indeed, if a woman has reached puberty, she cannot be seen except for this and this," he pointed to her face and the palms of her hands. "(HR. Abu Daud 4140)
So from this hadith, it is evident that a woman's arm is not excluded from the scope of aurat, so it is included in the aurat that must be covered.
