SKIN TONE THEORY
Understanding how colour interacts or reacts with a person's skin tone and knowing which colour to use to achieve the greatest appearance are two aspects of colour theory applied to the skin.
Skin Tone Classification
1. Warm Skin Tone:
• Tends to be yellow or orange.
• Suitable colors: yellow, orange, brown, red.
2. Neutral Skin Tone:
• Doesn't have a striking color trend.
• Suitable colors: almost any color.
3. Cool Skin Tone:
• Tends to be pink, peach, red, or blue.
• Suitable colors: blue, green, purple, and pink
Identifying Skin Tone
To determine your skin tone, look at the color of the veins on your wrist:
• If the veins appear green, you have a warm skin tone.
• If the veins appear blue, you have a cool skin tone.
• If the veins have a balanced green and blue color, you have a neutral skin tone
