🎓💪

Today, as I stand here celebrating this milestone, I want to tell you - YOU ARE UNSTOPPABLE! 😊

I celebrate myself today, not just because I banked a degree, but because I overcame every obstacle, every tribulation, every "impossible" that came my way. 💪

You are one of the strongest people I've ever seen in the world. There were times I doubted, times I felt like giving up, but I didn't. Why? Because I knew the value of what I was fighting for. 🙌

I invested my capital, my savings, my sweat... but looking back, I'm like "God, I made the right choice". I didn't spend it on things that would've left me empty; I spent it on ME, on my future. 🙏

Thank you to the universe, thank you to myself for holding on, for pushing through. There were nights I cried, days I felt like dropping out... but I didn't. And now, I'm here. 👏

This degree? It's not just a piece of paper. It's proof that I can weather any storm. 💯

So to anyone reading this: if you're in the middle of your storm, hold on. You're stronger than you think. 💪

I started working when I was about 16 or 17 years old. Not because I wanted to, but because I saw how hard my mom struggled every single day. She was both a mother and a father to me. She worked tirelessly to feed us, clothe us, and make sure I had a better future. I wanted to help in the little way I could, so I started working to support her.

One thing about my mom was that she believed so much in education. No matter how difficult life became, she never stopped dreaming of seeing me go to school and succeed. She would always tell her godfather that her daughter wanted to write WAEC and NECO because she wanted me to have a future she never had.

Life wasn’t easy. At one point, I was told to repeat a class. That broke me because from JSS1 to SS1 first term, I had always been one of the best students. I couldn’t accept it, so I left school and continued working while holding on to the hope that one day I would return to my education.

Then life took a turn I never imagined. In 2019, I lost my mom. The woman who sacrificed everything for me was gone before she could see her dream come true.

Yesterday, I graduated.

As I signed out, my heart was filled with mixed emotions. I smiled, but deep down I wished my mom was there. One thing she always said was that on the day she would celebrate me, no one would stand in her place. Sadly, she wasn’t physically present, but I believe she was there in spirit, smiling and celebrating with me.

The journey wasn’t easy, but God never left me. He surrounded me with kind and wonderful people who became blessings along the way. Through every challenge, He made a way.

Today, I know my mom is proud of me. And I am proud of myself too, because despite every setback, every tear, and every obstacle, I fulfilled the dream she carried in her heart for me.

This victory is for God, for my late mom, and for everyone who believed in me when life seemed impossible.

They say every success has a story. Mine is a story of God’s grace.

This journey wasn’t easy. I lost my mom before she could see this day, faced seasons of uncertainty, and experienced moments that could have broken me. But God remained faithful. He raised people who loved me, prayed for me, and stood by me when I needed them most.

Today, I graduate with a grateful heart. This is more than a certificate—it’s a testimony that God’s grace is enough.

To my mom, I know you’re smiling from heaven. I hope I’ve made you proud. I love you always. ❤️🕊️

To my godmother, my family, my cousin, my friends, and everyone who supported me, thank you. Your love and sacrifices will never be forgotten.

To God alone be all the glory. 🎓✨

My heart is full of gratitude. ❤️

Looking back at where I started, I can only say, Thank You, Lord. It has been nothing but Your grace. You never allowed the plans of the enemy to prevail over my life, and You carried me through every challenge.

To my godmother, thank you for loving me like your own. We may not be related by blood, but you stood by me every step of the way. You woke up early to follow me to the park, helped me carry my loads, bought things for me to take to school, and encouraged me to always pray. I will never forget your love and sacrifices.

To my family, especially my mama’s family, thank you for believing in me. I still remember when my big mummy bought foodstuffs on credit so I wouldn’t lack in school. Your love carried me through difficult times.

To my cousin, thank you for taking care of me without hesitation. From hostel fees to textbooks and my project, you were always there. May God richly bless you.

To everyone who supported me, prayed for me, encouraged me, or helped me in any way throughout this journey, thank you. I am forever grateful. God bless you all.

I dedicate this work to the memory of my late mother Mrs Bridget Aichie .Though you are no longer here with me in person, your love, sacrifices, and prayers laid the foundation for everything I have become. I carry you in my heart with every step I take. This achievement is yours as much as it is mine.

To my cousin brother Mr Daniel Apkabuwe Lorenzo— you may be my junior, but you have been my senior in support. Thank you for never letting age stand in the way of love. You stood by me, encouraged me, and reminded me to keep going even when it was hard. I am deeply grateful for you.

To my Godmother Mrs Olasubomi Amudat ogunkoya, thank you for wrapping me in love, covering me in prayers, and speaking words of encouragement into my life. Your faith in me gave me strength when I doubted myself. You are a blessing I will forever cherish.

Finally, to my lovely family as a whole — thank you for everything. For every sacrifice, for every word of advice, and for every penny invested in my education. Your support carried me through this journey. I appreciate you more than words can say.
