Good morning EDICTA ARMY
We’ve gained new followers overtime and I feel the need to reintroduce myself.

My name is Ugonma Benedicta Nwaokike.
My mom calls me Ugoo, my dad calls me Ugonnaya or Olunnaya(my titlecas the second daughter).
My siblings call me Ugonma and Aunty Ugonma.
My friends call me Benedicta or Ugonma.
And my clients call me Edicta.

I call my community members EDICTA ARMY because una too strong.

My mom and dad are both from imo state.
I’m a November 10 baby girl.
I am the second daughter and I have 3 siblings.

I am the creative mind behind the EDICTA WEARZ BRAND

I finished secondary school in 2016.
I studied industrial relations and personnel management (human resource management) in Uniben. Ahh uniben showed me shege pro max but I thank God I conquered.

I have a very smart and adorable man in my life. My son. He’ll be two years old next month and I marvel at how smart he is 🥹

The brand name EDICTA WEARZ have always been the name I had in mind for any form of fashion business I told myself I was going to have.

Honestly Ehn the brand EDICTA WEARZ started from the place of boredom and from my love for fashion and looking good.
I’ve always known how to join piece of fabric together with machine cos my mom had one at home but I never knew how to cut.
So during the Covid period, when it wasn’t so serious anymore, I think sometime around June, I decided to learn tailoring officially. And that was how I started.
One month into learning I got someone who paid me to make her the exact style she saw me putting on that I made myself and from there EDICTA WEARZ was born.
