I sent a parcel 📦 weighing 18.85kg (aproximately 19kg) to new Jersey United State on Thursday 9th April 2026. It was boxed in a yellow dhl box & Package arrived new jersey in a smaller box with REPACKAGED tape detail on the box with another receipt and detail on it. Upon opening the box, as i was on video call with the recipient, we found out that more than half of the items were taken out of the box. I have picture & video evidence of items sent from DHL office nigeria. pictures i took by my self at dhl office including detail and number of outfits sent. This is the first time this is happening as I've been doing weigh bills with DHL and have never had anything like this. Even the carelessness from the delivery personnel is terrible.
Tell me why the package was repackaged?

I don't understand why this is even happening at all.
These are outfits that are to be used this weekend.
No detail of repackaging during tracking process and to think it left nigeria on the 10th of April.
I am terribly sad as this has cost me so much loss and i need a quick, effective response on this subject matter and i need it rectified immediately.
All relevant mails have been sent out.
