Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (saw), used to recite this Upon going to bed,
"O Allah, verily You have created my soul and You shall take it’s life, to You belongs it’s life and death. If You should keep my soul alive then protect it, and if You should take it’s life then forgive it. O Allah, I ask You to grant me good health."
اللّهُـمَّ إِنَّـكَ خَلَـقْتَ نَفْسـي وَأَنْـتَ تَوَفّـاهـا لَكَ ممَـاتـها وَمَحْـياها ، إِنْ أَحْيَيْـتَها فاحْفَظْـها ، وَإِنْ أَمَتَّـها فَاغْفِـرْ لَـها . اللّهُـمَّ إِنَّـي أَسْـأَلُـكَ العـافِـيَة

The Month of Repentance -3-

How can Allaah The Exalted not call them to them, while the most honored, noblest and the most righteous among them, (Muhammad),, who was his previous and future sins, to Allaah The Almighty every single day. Allaah The Almighty Says (what means):
·{Indeed, We have given you, [O Muhammad], a clear conquest. That Allaah may for you what preceded of your sin.}

[Quran 48: 1-2]

The month of repentance -2-

Why do we not repent while Allah The Almighty stretches out His Hand to the seeker of repentance and opens the door of His repentance to those who feel regret (for their sins)? It was narrated on the authority of Abu Moosa Al-Ash‘ari that the Prophet,, said: “Allah The Almighty stretches out His Hand at night to accept the repentance of those who did wrong during the day, and He stretches out His Hand during the day to accept the repentance of those who did wrong during the night. (This will continue) until the sun rises from the west.]”

Month of repentance -1-

If one does not repent in Ramadan, then when will he?
If one does not repent when the gates of Paradise are opened, the gates of Hellfire are closed and devils are chained up, then when will he repent?
When will he give up committing sins?
It is the month of repentance, forgiveness, salvation from Hell fire and the ,,(pbuh) said: “May his be in the , a for whom Ramadan and then before he is !”
