The recent kidnapping incident in Ogbomoso is a painful reminder of the security challenges facing our communities. We must remain vigilant, report suspicious movements promptly, and support our security agencies in their efforts to protect lives and property. Let us also pray for the safe return of all victims and work together to ensure that criminals find no hiding place in our society. Security is everyone's responsibility.

Fact be told, Arsenal FC should have been the one lifting the cup.

Emeka fought desperately, but they beat him mercilessly.
Ada screamed as they dragged her away.
“Please! I begged God for this child! Please don’t take my baby!”
Her cries echoed into the stormy night.
When Ada regained consciousness, she found herself inside a dimly lit shrine surrounded by chanting voices. Chief Damian stood before her in white garments stained with red symbols.
“You should feel honored,” he said coldly. “Your sacrifice will change the destiny of this state.”
Ada held her stomach tightly, crying uncontrollably.
Meanwhile, Emeka, bleeding and broken, remembered something Ada once told him:
“God may delay, but He never forgets His own.”
With his last strength, Emeka gathered church members and villagers. Armed with nothing but sticks, lanterns, and faith, they stormed the forest after tracking the kidnappers.
Inside the shrine, the ritual had already begun.
The herbalist raised a knife.
Suddenly—
Gunshots exploded outside.
Villagers burst through the doors shouting prayers.
Chaos erupted everywhere.
The shrine caught fire.
Chief Damian tried to escape, but as he ran, a burning pillar collapsed on him. His screams filled the night.
Emeka rushed to Ada, cutting her ropes with shaking hands.
“You’re safe… you’re safe,” he cried.
Ada held him tightly as flames consumed the evil shrine behind them.
Nine months later, their son was born.
The child’s cry filled the hospital room with joy.
Emeka carried the baby gently and whispered through tears,
“You fought darkness before even entering this world.”
And for the first time in many years, Ada smiled without pain in her heart.

Chief Damian Okorie, a powerful politician, was preparing for the governorship election. He was wealthy, feared, and desperate for power. Rumors followed him everywhere—rumors of blood rituals, disappearances, and secret midnight meetings with dark native doctors.
Chief Damian believed power was never won by votes alone.
One night, inside a hidden shrine deep in the forest, an old herbalist spoke with a frightening voice.
“You want to become governor?”
“Yes,” Damian answered confidently.
“Then the gods demand a sacrifice.”
“What kind?”
The old man’s eyes darkened.
“A pregnant woman carrying her first child.”
Damian froze.
But only for a moment.
“Find her,” the herbalist whispered.
Days later, one of Damian’s boys spotted Ada during a hospital visit. Her glowing smile and visible pregnancy caught their attention immediately.
“She is the one.”
From that day, strange things began to happen.
Ada started seeing the same black jeep around their neighborhood.
Unknown numbers called her phone at midnight.
One evening, while returning from church, two men attempted to drag her into a vehicle, but local traders nearby screamed, forcing them to flee.
Fear consumed Emeka.
He reported to the police, but nobody listened. Chief Damian was too powerful.
Then came the darkest night of all.
Heavy thunder shook the sky as armed men broke into their apartment.
Emeka fought desperately, but.....

The rain poured heavily that evening as Ada stood by the tiny window of their rented apartment, tears rolling silently down her cheeks. In the next room, her husband, Emeka, pretended to sleep, but he could hear every muffled sob.
Four years of marriage.
Four years of prayers.
Four years of hospitals, herbal mixtures, midnight fasting, and cruel whispers from neighbors.
“Maybe she is cursed.”
“Emeka should marry another wife.”
Those words pierced Ada’s heart daily.
But Emeka never left her side.
Every night, he would hold her trembling hands and whisper, “You are enough for me, Ada. Child or no child, I will never abandon you.”
Still, deep inside him, the pain remained. He longed to hear a child call him father.
Their fourth wedding anniversary came and went with silence. No pregnancy. No hope.
Then one morning, Ada collapsed while washing clothes outside. Frightened, Emeka rushed her to the hospital.
The doctor returned with a smile.
“Congratulations… your wife is pregnant.”
For a moment, the world stood still.
Ada burst into tears.
Emeka fell to his knees.
After years of darkness, light had finally entered their home.
That night, their small apartment became a place of celebration. Neighbors came dancing. Church members sang praises. Even old women who once mocked Ada hugged her tightly.
But far away in the capital city, another celebration was being planned.

Then one day, during an internal audit, senior management discovered that many of the errors blamed on Amanda were actually caused by Mr. Davis himself. Another female staff member also came forward with similar complaints against him.
An investigation was launched.
Within weeks, Mr. Davis was dismissed from the company.
Amanda was later called into the office of the managing director.
“We are sorry for everything you went through,” he said. “Your honesty and professionalism have spoken for you.”
Not long after, she was promoted.
That evening, Amanda returned home with tears in her eyes again — but this time, they were tears of victory.
She hugged her mother tightly.
“We survived, Mama.”
Naomi smiled and wiped her daughter’s tears.
“No, my child,” she replied softly. “You conquered.”

Her heart pounded.
When she realized he was demanding s*x from her, tears gathered in her eyes. She remembered her mother’s struggles, her late father, and everything she had endured just to stand where she was.
Quietly but firmly, she said:
“I’m here to work, sir. Nothing else.”
His expression changed immediately.
From that day onward, her life in the office became miserable.
He overloaded her with work, shouted at her in front of others, and constantly accused her of being incompetent. Even simple mistakes made by others were blamed on her. Some colleagues avoided her because they feared losing their own jobs.
Every evening, Amanda returned home emotionally broken, but she hid the truth from her mother and pretended everything was fine.
One night, however, Naomi noticed her swollen eyes.
“My daughter… what is wrong?”
Amanda could no longer hold back the pain. She broke down crying and told her mother everything.
Naomi listened silently, tears streaming down her face.
After a long silence, she held Amanda’s hands and said:
“Never trade your dignity for survival. We may be poor, but your body and your pride are not for sale.”
Those words gave Amanda strength.
The harassment continued, but she refused to surrender herself. Though she suffered unfair accusations and humiliation, she kept working honestly and praying silently.

“My daughter has suffered,” she whispered. “God, please let her smile now.”
But life was not yet done testing her.
After graduation, Amanda searched endlessly for work. She attended interviews in borrowed clothes and traveled long distances under the scorching sun. Again and again, she heard the same words:
“We’ll get back to you.”
But nobody ever did.
Months turned into years. Depression slowly crept into her heart. Sometimes she locked herself inside and cried, feeling like a failure despite all her efforts.
Then one morning, everything changed.
A company finally offered her a job as an administrative assistant. When she received the call, she screamed with joy and hugged her mother tightly.
“Mama… our suffering is finally ending!”
That night, they celebrated with rice and soft drinks — something they could barely afford. For the first time in years, hope returned to their tiny home.
On her first day at work, Amanda woke up before dawn. She carefully ironed her only good outfit and stood before the mirror smiling nervously. Her mother prayed over her before she left.
“May God protect you wherever you go,” Naomi said.
Amanda arrived at the office filled with excitement and gratitude. She was determined to work hard and make her mother proud.
But before the day ended, her happiness was shattered.
Her line manager, Mr. Davis, called her into his office. At first, his words sounded normal, but soon his eyes and tone changed.
“You’re a very beautiful girl,” he said, leaning closer. “If you cooperate with me, your future here will be smooth.”
Amanda felt uncomfortable and tried to leave, but he stopped her.
“I can make your life easy in this company,” he whispered. “But you must make me happy too.”
Her heart pounded.
When she realized he was demanding s*x from her, tears gathered in her eyes.

What do you think Amanda should do?
Will you advise her to accept his request?

Raised in Sacrifice, Standing in Strength.
A story of a young girl named Amanda.

Amanda was only seven years old when death stole her father away. One moment, she had been a cheerful little girl who ran into her father’s arms every evening, and the next, she was standing beside his grave, watching her mother break into tears that seemed endless.
From that day, life became cruel.
Her mother, Naomi, suddenly became both mother and father. She sold vegetables under the hot sun in the market just to keep food on the table. Some nights, they slept hungry. Other nights, rain leaked through the roof while they curled together in one corner of the room, praying morning would come quickly.
But despite the hardship, Naomi never allowed her daughter to lose hope.
“Education is your only way out,” she would always say.
Amanda grew up watching her mother suffer silently. She saw the blisters on her mother’s hands, the tiredness in her eyes, and the pain she tried to hide behind weak smiles. That pain became Amanda’s motivation.
School was difficult. Many times, she was sent home because school fees had not been paid. Her classmates mocked her torn sandals and faded uniform. During lunch break, while others bought snacks, Amanda drank water to silence her hunger.
Still, she remained focused.
At night, she studied under a flickering kerosene lamp while her mother slept beside her, exhausted from the market. Sometimes, she cried quietly while reading her books, wondering why life had to be so unfair.
Years later, after countless sacrifices and prayers, Amanda graduated from the university. Her mother sat proudly among the crowd on graduation day, tears flowing freely down her cheeks.
“My daughter has suffered,” she whispered. “God, please let her smile now.”
But life was not yet done testing her.
After graduation,
