STORY TIME: Yesterday really tested my patience. 😂

I stepped out yesterday to buy beautiful beads for my waist bead and anklet orders. I was excited because I also had a delivery coming all the way from Ilorin.

Since the package hadn't arrived yet, I decided to wait at the bead shop instead of going home. Not a bad idea, right? At least I got to admire all the beautiful beads... and resist the temptation to buy more than I planned. 😂

Then came the plot twist.

The lady from Ilorin later messaged me that she couldn't send the package after all.

Imagine waiting all that time for a delivery that never came. 🥲

I finally decided to head home, and that's when the weather decided to join the drama. The rain came down heavily, cars became scarce, and everyone suddenly turned into an Olympic sprinter trying to get the next available bus. 😂

And if you've ever worn a niqab in heavy rain while trying to hustle for transportation, you'll understand that it's a whole experience on its own. At one point, I didn't know whether I was protecting my niqab from the rain or protecting myself from the wind. 🤣

By the time I got home, I felt like I had completed a survival challenge: disappointment ✔️, waiting ✔️, rain ✔️, transport struggle ✔️.

But Alhamdulillāh, I got home safely, and that's what matters most.

Now tell me, what's the most dramatic "quick errand" you've ever gone on? I know I can't be the only one with stories like this. 😂👇

Many jilbabs and niqobs get damaged not because they’re poor quality, but because of wrong washing, storage, and daily use.

In this post, I’ll be sharing 4 simple care tips that help you:

Prevent fading and rough texture

Maintain the original shape and fall

Keep your niqob neat and breathable

Save money by reducing frequent replacements.

1️⃣ Wash Gently, Not Aggressively

Always hand-wash your jilbabs and niqobs or use the gentle cycle on your machine. Avoid harsh detergents—they weaken the fabric and cause fading.
