Corset . corset became popular in sixteenth century in Europe, reaching the zenith of its popularity in the victorian era.
Roxey Ann caplin was a British writer and inventor who wrote books about health, beauty and women wants.
The corset was an undergarment ,had its origin in Italy and was introduced by , Catherine de Medici into France in the ,1500;(1500_1550).
Corset are made out of rigid materials such as whalebone,horn and buckram.this type of corset was a tight, elongated bodice that was worn underneath the clothing.
Fashion history reveals the first recorded corset originated from crete in Greece worn by the Minoan people .
There were used to 'beautify" women and also to ensure modesty.corsets were laced tightly with as many as fifty laces, and had to be worn from childhood until the wedding night.
