Sewing for long hours can put a lot of strain on your waist and lower back. Here are some things you can do to reduce the pain:
Use the right chair
Sit on a chair with good back support.
Your feet should rest flat on the floor.
Avoid bending forward too much.
Adjust your sewing table height
The machine should be at a comfortable level so your shoulders stay relaxed.
If the table is too low, it can stress your waist.
Maintain good posture
Sit upright instead of slouching.
Keep your back supported.
Bring the fabric closer instead of leaning toward the machine.
Take short breaks
Stand up and stretch every 30–45 minutes.
Walk around for a few minutes to relax your muscles.
Above all get urself a presser footer it will go a long way to help your sewing.
