There are different techniques of padding a bustier and they are based on the bust size .
Caging is one of the famous out of many methods but not everyone needs that, there are several professional techniques fashion designers use to add structure, lift, or fullness to a bustier, depending on the desired look and comfort. Here are some of the common methods aside caging: Foam cup padding,
layered Wadding (battling) ,
Interfacing method,
Bust Push-up Cup inserts,
Silicone cups inserts,
Horsehair canvas support,
You can also make your bust cups from scratch, using the drafted bodices of the client you are working with.
