6 years later... 🗓️⏳👣

Growth looks good on me.

It didn’t start today. I have always worn my knitwear with absolute confidence—but looking back at the journey makes it even sweeter.

This is your gentle reminder that machine knitting goes way beyond cardigans. We are talking structure and custom pieces that turn heads.

Day 2
Meet the Maker: 22 years of craft, 8 years of business impact.

My journey with the crochet hook and yarn began over two decades ago as a childhood passion.

Today, that passion has evolved into a sustainable, intentional business.

Focusing on specialized baby wear and accessories, this craft has consistently sustained my goals and allowed me to empower and support others for the past eight years.

Beyond the business models and the daily operations, crochet remains deeply therapeutic for me.

It is proof that creativity and commerce can beautifully coexist.

CROCHET IS LUXURY. Handmade deserves respect. Crocheters deserve recognition

One of the reasons it is luxury is because it cannot be automated and as such it is an intense investment of pure time.

Something profound happened tonight, and I just had to share it with you all before bedtime. ✨

I met up with a first-time client to get her feedback on the order I delivered this past Sunday. Hearing her gush over the piece and compliment the quality filled my heart!

While we were talking, I took the opportunity to introduce my work to a lady sitting with her.

She looked at me and said, "I’ve been seeing your work and I love it, but it’s too expensive for me because it's handmade."

You know what? I didn’t push, and I didn’t feel bad at all.

Instead, I smiled. I knew right then that she just isn't my client for this current season—and that when she has the resources and the appreciation for the time it takes to create these pieces, she will come for it.

It all comes down to positioning and knowing your value. 🤎

Never forget that everyone is not your customer, and that is never a reflection of your worth or the value of your craft. No need to feel bad about it!
Have a beautiful and restful night! 🛌✨

🛑 Stop Pricing by Vibes: The Hidden Loss Eating Your Profits

Let’s be honest for a second. How many times have you finished a beautiful yarn piece, calculated exactly how much yarn you used, added a little extra for packaging, and called that your selling price?

If you look at the left side of the attached image you will see exactly why this "pricing by vibes" method is quietly killing your creative business.

When you only charge for materials, you aren't running a business—you are paying to do a hobby.

To build a crochet business that actually pays your bills, you must transition to the right side of the attached image.

Your time has a monetary value. Here is the basic sustainable pricing formula every professional crafter needs to memorize:
Price = (Materials Cost + Misc Expenses + Hourly Labor) × (1 + Profit Margin %)
Let’s look at how the professional prices the exact same 3-hour project:

Production Cost: ₦1,500 (Materials) + ₦500 (Misc) = ₦2,000
Hourly Labor: 3 hours × ₦2,000/hour = ₦6,000
Total Cost to Produce: ₦2,000 + ₦6,000 = ₦8,000
Professional Price (with 25% Markup for Business Growth): ₦10,000

By pricing professionally, you get paid ₦6,000 for your physical labor, plus your business keeps an extra ₦2,000 in true profit to reinvest in new tools, marketing, or expansion. That is how you build a brand that lasts!

💬 Let's Fix This Together!
It's time to leave the pricing anxiety behind.
