5 Mistakes That Make Your Underwear Wear Out Faster👙
We all want our favorite underwear to last, but sometimes it's the little things we do that cause them to wear out sooner. 💡
1. Washing with hot water every time
Hot water can weaken the elastic that helps your underwear fit well. Over time, it may become loose and lose its shape. Unless the care label says otherwise, cool or lukewarm water is usually a better choice.
2. Using too much detergent
More detergent doesn't always mean cleaner clothes. When too much is used, some of it can stay in the fabric, making your underwear feel less soft and causing the material to wear out faster over time.
3. Drying under high heat
High heat from a dryer or direct, intense sunlight for long periods can damage the elastic and fade the fabric. Air-drying in a shaded, well-ventilated place is often the gentlest option.
4. Washing underwear with heavy clothes
Jeans, towels, and clothes with zippers can rub against delicate underwear during washing. This friction can stretch the fabric, cause pilling, or even create small tears.
5. Wearing the same few pairs too often
If you keep wearing the same underwear every few days, they'll wear out much faster than if you rotate several pairs. Giving each pair a break helps it keep its shape and elasticity for longer.
✨ A little extra care goes a long way. Treat your underwear well, and it'll stay comfortable and supportive for much longer.
