A client asked for a wine color design, so I went to source materials. I found one, but the shade looked dull. Then I saw another one richer and shinier, but not exactly “wine.”
Because of past experiences, I didn’t assume. I told the seller I’d show my client first, and honestly, I didn’t even mind the transport cost despite the hike in petrol price. 😭😭
When I got back to her, she said no to both.
At that moment, I was glad I trusted the process.
In the end, she got exactly what she wanted, and that’s what matters.
Lesson: Never assume for your customers. Give them exactly what they ask for, so there’s no regret later.
