One of the easiest ways to get a neat, well-structured gele starts before the gele is even tied on your headā¦
Many people think any hairstyle will work, but a bulky gele base can affect how the gele sits and eventually the final look.
That is why I usually recommend cornrows, ponytail, frontal wigs, or any flat hairstyle.
The flatter the base, the neater the final result.
This doesnāt mean other hairstyles canāt work, but choosing a gele-friendly hairstyle will make the styling process smoother and will help you achieve the elegant look youāre aiming for.
A little preparation goes a long way.
