On June 21st 2025, I was appointed as a Girls/Women Speak Ambassador by the Peace Ambassadors Advocacy Network, in affiliation with LAWPA and the United Nations. La cérémonie a eu lieu au Ministère des Affaires Étrangères, Abuja.

Though I was unavoidably absent, my amazing friend Esther Aidi graciously received the award on my behalf. Thank you so much.

This recognition fuels my commitment through the Global Africa Girls Initiatives (GAGI), a movement committed to raising confident, outspoken, and visionary girls across Africa.

Lately, I've been thinking a lot about the power of perseverance in the realm of self-development. It's easy to get excited at the beginning of a new goal, whether it's learning a new skill, building a healthy habit or working towards a personal milestone. But I think the real test comes when the initial enthusiasm fades and the work becomes challenging.

There have been times on my own journey where I've felt discouraged, where progress seemed slow or non-existent. I've learned that these are the moments that truly define us. It's in pushing through the resistance, in getting back up after a fall, that we build strength and resilience.

I've made a commitment to myself: I won't give up until I see the "paydays" of my efforts, the tangible results of my growth, the feeling of accomplishment, the person I'm becoming. This isn't about instant gratification; it's about the long game. It's about trusting the process and knowing that consistent effort will eventually yield its rewards.

Lately, I've been thinking a lot about the power of perseverance in the realm of self-development.
