I painted this last year, but the truth is… I was really painting myself.
People see on the canvas.
I see a reflection of my own journey.
There’s something about watching someone stay consistent when the world isn’t watching.
Staying clean. Staying focused. Staying faithful.
Building quietly.
That’s where I’ve been.
Not every season is loud.
Not every season comes with applause.
Some seasons are just you, your vision, your doubts, and God.
When I was painting this, I was in that space.
Grinding. Dreaming bigger than my environment.
Believing in something I couldn’t yet prove to anyone.
I wasn’t just inspired by success.
I connected with the process behind it.
The patience. The discipline. The becoming.
This canvas is a reminder to myself; Don’t rush. Don’t switch up. Don’t lose your identity trying to arrive faster.
Sometimes you see your future in someone else’s present. This piece isn’t about fame. It’s about growth. It’s about trusting your process. It’s about seeing yourself in the story of someone who didn’t quit.
