He is looking for his friend Omalicha

HELP ME FIND OMALICHA IN ONITSHA.
So there’s this guy I’ve been trying to find for years now he’s based in Onitsha Anambra state, his name is OMALICHA,I think it’s a nickname or something.

I have been looking for him to appreciate him for saving and helping me in Onitsha years ago,I think they own a bakery or he worked in a bakery then or something.

How it happened,I came to Onitsha to buy from goods I would sell(clothes) I was selling men’s clothing and jewelry. Omo I don hustle o! God please settle me let me rest!πŸ˜©πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ

So there was this friend then we have been talking on Facebook because I saw him posting about main market and wholesale wears so we got talking and all so he told me to come to Onitsha that he’ll help me by taking me round to pick what and what I’ll be buying at affordable prices from the main dealers,so I arrived Onitsha and I called to tell him that I was looking for a hotel to lodge and this guy said Nooo mba kwa don’t try it!! Why lodge and spend money while Im here. Don’t oo!

He came and picked me to one of those high rising houses in Onitsha where he lives on the 4th floor or so and we stayed but I was so uncomfortable because I had much money on me and I’m with a stranger though we’ve bΓ¨en online friends for almost a year plus.

He kept tossing me about whenever I asked about when well bΓ¨ going to buy the goods he’ll say Nna relax we’ll go tomorrow, when tomorrow comes I’ll ask again he’ll tell me another story.

So I became suspicious and worried that I started reaching out to people I know in Onitsha online and nobody seem around or available to show me around,I wasn’t this popular or known on social media space then.

So one afternoon a friend of his came around and we got talking when he stepped out to buy something and he gave me his contact and said call me tomorrow morning and I’ll tell you how to get to the market where I’ll be waiting for you,my friend isnt into any clothing business I know I shouldn’t be doing this but I can’t watch you a fine hardworking guy loose your sweat just like that.

Omo!! That night I didn’t sleep,my head was spinning like squid game, that was the longest night I ever had Ib my entire life.

Once it was morning he left very early and told me to prepare that by 9am he’ll come and pick me to the market I said ok.

Immediately he left I took my bath and picked my things and left, called OMALICHA and he told me where to come and we met at the market and he took me inside and I bought everything I needed to my satisfaction and he told me if I want night bus I should tell him so that he’ll show me where to board.

He took me to their house that afternoon after I had paid for my ticket and loaded my goods at the pack, his brothers and mom maid me better Onugbu soup and akpu I ate,I think it was a bakery.

He put water for me I bath,we sat down and talked for long in their compound and then I asked him why he keeps someone like that as a friend and he knows what he does.

He said that, they stopped being friends for long when he found out this lifestyle of his but he kept telling him that he has changed,he pretends to be a dealer in Onitsha so people will send him money for goods and that will be it,or he’ll invite you over and dupe you.

Said that day he was just passing by and decided to check up on him and saw home there and something made him start talking to me immediately his friend stepped out.

They treated me well in that house that I wished I wasn’t going that night, even his mom started feeling bad when she heard I was leaving because for that few hours I stayed there we got along so quickly.

Immediately I returned to my base we kept talking and talking till one time I lost my phone and that was it,till date.

OMALICHA was truly OMALICHA in his behavior towards me,when we were walking on the streets I heard people hail him OMALICHA even women and children and he greeted and laughed with them.

He was kinda popular, please if you know OMALICHA in Onitsha kindly help me tell him that one guy he helped years ago is still looking for him to say thanks πŸ™

One of the challenges of having an eye defect that requires you to wear glasses is finding a frame that actually fits you. πŸ˜©πŸ‘“

Honestly, doing the lens test is one thing, but choosing a frame is another wahala entirely!

Sometimes, I get tired of trying on different frames because either the shape doesn’t fit my face, the style doesn’t look good on me, or I just can’t seem to find the one that makes me feel comfortable and confident.

At some point, I have to send pictures to my siblings and ask them to help me choose because, at this point, I don tire! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

And the funny thing is that you might see a frame on someone else and admire how beautiful it looks, only for you to try it on and discover that it doesn’t suit you at all.

People who wear glasses will understand this struggle. It’s not just about seeing clearly; sometimes, you also want to look good while doing so. Abi no be so?

Please, who else is in this category? How do you choose your frames? Do you trust your own judgment, or do you also need other people’s opinions before making a decision?

Men do not know how to cook 😒😒😒

Mtchewww!!
WHO SAID MEN DON’T KNOW HOW TO COOK

Let me tell you something. My brother taught me how to cook! Yes, my own brother.

He taught me how to cook okra soup, ogbono soup, native rice, and other things..

Imagine a man teaching his sister how to cook. That was how I learned so many things from him, and I’m grateful for it.

So, whenever I hear people arguing that men don’t know how to cook, I just smile. Please, let’s stop that argument!
My brother is living proof that men can cook too.

And the beautiful thing? He’s married with grown-up children, and he still cooks!

Honestly, one of the beautiful things that can happen to a woman is having a supportive husband, a man who doesn’t see cooking or helping around the house as something beneath him.

Marriage is partnership. It’s not about whether you’re a man or a woman; it’s about loving, supporting, and helping each other.

A man who can cook, care for his family, and support his wife? That’s beautiful!

Ladies, who taught you how to cook? Was it your mother, father, brother, sister, or did you learn by yourself?

I was living with HIV and how he could be sure I didn’t have it.

So, I came across a post on social media, and the question was something like, β€œHow do single ladies satisfy their sexual urges during ovulation, especially ladies in their 30s and above?”

Omo! πŸ˜‚ The comment section was interesting!

People were dropping different opinions, and one particular comment caught my attention.

Someone said there are men everywhere, and ladies can easily find men to satisfy their sexual desires.

I read that comment, and because of what we are facing in society today, I simply replied:

β€œHIV and STDs are real. Please, be careful.”

That was all I said.

My dear, this person came under my comment and asked whether that meant I was living with HIV and how he could be sure I didn’t have it.

I looked at the comment and wondered, Wait o, how did we get here? πŸ˜‚

How did a simple reminder to be careful suddenly become an opportunity to make assumptions about somebody’s health?

Anyway, I didn’t respond further. I had made my point, and I didn’t see any reason to argue. I was getting notifications of likes on my comments then I checked and couldn’t find his reply to my comment 🀣.. The best answer to a fool is what again?🦻silence

But this experience got me thinking, and I want us to have this conversation.

MY DEAR SISTER, SEXUAL DESIRE IS NORMAL. BUT WHAT YOU DO WITH THAT DESIRE MATTERS.

Yes, you are in your 30s. Yes, you are single. Yes, your hormones may be doing their thing during ovulation. You are human, and there is nothing shameful about acknowledging your sexual desires.

But does having a sexual urge mean you must satisfy it with just anybody?

Must every man who comes your way become an option because you want to satisfy a desire?

Let’s think about it.

You meet a man today. You know little or nothing about his sexual health or history. You don’t know whether he has other sexual partners, and you may not know whether those partners have other partners.

You see how complicated things can become?

This is not about judging anybody. It is about understanding that sexual decisions can have consequences.

HIV, hepatitis B, and other sexually transmitted infections are real. Some can be transmitted through sexual contact, and some infections can exist without obvious symptoms.

That is why we need to take our sexual health seriously.

Get tested. Have honest conversations with your partner. Use protection. Consider appropriate vaccinations and other preventive measures, and seek medical advice when necessary.

And please, understand this: You cannot determine someone’s HIV status by looking at them, and having HIV does not mean someone is irresponsible or morally inferior.

My point is not to stigmatise anybody. My point is to encourage responsibility.

Now, let’s talk about self-control.

Someone else commented that the best solution is self-control, and honestly, I agree that self-control is an important part of the conversation.

The urge may come. Your hormones may fluctuate. You may feel lonely. You may desire intimacy and companionship.

But you can acknowledge those feelings without allowing them to dictate every decision you make.

You can have a desire without acting on every desire.

And as a Christian, I believe in praying and trusting God. But I also believe we have a responsibility to make wise decisions.

You cannot deliberately put yourself in avoidable danger and expect faith to replace every precaution you could have taken.

Pray, yes. Trust God, yes. But also exercise wisdom.

And let me make something clear: even when you make responsible choices, life is not always predictable. No preventive measure offers absolute protection against every possible risk. That is why we need both wisdom and compassion.

So, my dear sisters, whether you are in your 20s, 30s, 40s, or beyond, please remember that your sexual desires do not diminish your worth, and being single does not mean you must settle for just anybody.

You deserve to make informed decisions about your body, your health, and your relationships.

And if you choose to abstain, that is your decision. If you choose to be sexually active, take your sexual health seriously.

The goal is not to shame people for having desires. The goal is to encourage people to make responsible decisions.

Because at the end of the day, satisfying an urge may take a moment, but some consequences may require much more than a moment to manage.

Let me ask you this:

Do you agree that self-control is the best option for managing sexual urges, or do you believe there are other healthy ways single adults can manage their sexual desires?

Let’s discuss this maturely in the comment section. No insults, no assumptions about anybody’s health, and no shaming.

Let’s learn from one another. ❀️

Yesterday, it was men coming online to explain why they cheat on their wives, practically disgracing the women they married. Today, it’s the turn of women, and they are also coming out to disgrace their husbands. Everybody is exposing everybody! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜

But honestly, I sat down and asked myself, why get married if you’re not ready to be committed to one person?

You see, I think the problem is that some people are more interested in getting married than actually being married. They just want to answer Papa Ngozi and Mummy Chidera. They want the wedding, the title, and the children but they forget the actual purpose of marriage.

From the biblical account of Adam and Eve, companionship was established before the instruction to multiply and fill the earth. Adam was alone and God brought Eve to be his companion.

Marriage is not just about having children; it’s about having someone to do life with. Someone you can talk to laugh with grow with find comfort in and satisfy each other emotionally, physically, and otherwise.

And please if I’m saying something wrong, correct me.

The problem is that some people put the secondary things before the primary thing. They focus on having children, bearing a particular surname, and answering husband and wife, without asking themselves the most important question Can I actually live with this person? Can this person be my companion? Can we meet each other’s needs? Can we remain committed to each other?

Because, honestly, if you know you’re not ready to be faithful to one person, why not remain single until you’re ready? Marriage is not compulsory!

And let me say this: marriage is not always easy, and nobody is perfect. But if you made a commitment to someone, that commitment should mean something.

Anyway, yesterday, we heard from the men. Today, we are hearing from the women. At this rate, tomorrow, we might need to call a general meeting for both parties!

But seriously, what exactly is the essence of marriage if companionship, commitment, and faithfulness are missing?

You saw the fire explosion that happened around Oluku, Benin City, Edo State? Honestly, this was something that could have been prevented, or at least the damage could have been reduced.

From what I understand, the tanker fell around 6 a.m. Now, imagine if we were in a country where emergency response systems worked effectively. Immediately after the accident, the road would have been cordoned off, emergency responders would have arrived, and measures would have been taken to evacuate the fuel safely into another tanker if possible.

The market around that area should have been alerted. Nobody should have been allowed to open their shops. If your goods were there, you could have been given an opportunity to move them to safety early enough. And if it became too dangerous to enter the area, everybody should have been told to stay away.

These are emergency situations. There should be a proper assessment of the danger, and people should be evacuated from areas that could be affected.

But sadly, we didn’t see enough of these preventive measures.

Now, let’s talk about the people who went there to fetch fuel in the hot afternoon and carry it to their shops. What exactly were you thinking? You are gathering fuel from a fallen tanker, taking it to your store, and expecting everything to be fine?

When I saw what was happening, I told my colleague that there would likely be a fire outbreak. He said no, that he thought it was diesel. I said, okay, let’s wait and see.

Unfortunately, the situation ended in tragedy.

Even the police officers who came around were trying to get people away from the scene for their own safety, but some people still insisted on staying.

Why? Why would you put yourself in that kind of danger? If you love yourself, why would you remain in a place where your life is at risk?

Honestly, sometimes I wonder if we Nigerians truly love ourselves. I’ve said it before in one of my videos: how can you genuinely love and care for others when you don’t even know how to protect yourself?

Self-love is not just about buying yourself nice things, taking pictures, or pampering yourself. Sometimes, self-love means walking away from danger, even when you stand to lose something.

Yes, the government and emergency responders have a responsibility to protect lives. Emergency response must improve, and people must be properly informed and evacuated
when necessary.

But we, too, have a responsibility to protect ourselves. When people warn you to leave a dangerous place, please, leave!

I sincerely pray that those affected by this incident receive the help they need, and I pray that we learn something from this tragedy.

May we not lose our lives trying to save things that can be replaced.

Your life is more valuable than any goods, any fuel, or any money you are trying to make. Please, choose life. πŸ’”πŸ™πŸ½

Her own father! The very person who was supposed to protect her!

A 16-year-old girl reportedly came out in Enugu State to reveal that her own father had been sexually abusing her for years, and she had become pregnant.

Let that sink in for a moment.

Her own father! The very person who was supposed to protect her!

And what did the community leaders allegedly do?

Instead of ensuring that this child received protection, care, and justice, they reportedly banished both the girl and her father from the community.

Wait! What?

A child who has allegedly suffered years of sexual abuse is being sent away alongside the very person accused of abusing her?

To do what? To continue suffering in silence?

And you call that tradition?

Biko, what kind of tradition is this? What kind of culture punishes a child for being a victim?

If your tradition cannot protect a 16-year-old girl from sexual abuse, what exactly are you protecting?

If your customs make you turn your back on a vulnerable child, then we need to question those customs!

I watched the video, and honestly, my heart broke.

The fear in that girl’s eyes was heartbreaking. She looked frightened and vulnerable. Imagine being a child who should be surrounded by people willing to protect you, only to find yourself being sent away with the very person you are afraid of.

Imagine being that young and wondering who will protect you, where you will sleep, and what will happen to you next.

She was reportedly sent away with a bag in the cold.

A CHILD!

A 16-YEAR-OLD CHILD WHO NEEDS HELP!

And somebody somewhere thinks this is an acceptable way to handle such a situation because of tradition?

God forbid!

Let me say something, and I will keep saying it: Not every human being should become a parent simply because they are biologically capable of having children.

Being a man does not automatically make you a father.

Being a woman does not automatically make you a mother.

Parenthood is a responsibility. It requires love, protection, sacrifice, and the willingness to put your child’s safety before your own selfish desires.

What kind of mind would make a father sexually abuse his own child?

What kind of person would violate the very child he is supposed to protect?

And when such a serious allegation comes to light, why should the priority be to protect tradition instead of protecting the child?

The appropriate response should be to ensure the child’s immediate safety, provide medical and psychological support, investigate the allegation, and hold the alleged perpetrator accountable through the proper legal process.

Not banish the child.

Not expose her to further danger.

Not make her suffer for something that is not her fault.

A child who reports sexual abuse needs protection, not punishment. She needs justice, not rejection. She needs a safe home, not another reason to be afraid.

But thank God for the people who saw this story, raised their voices, and helped bring attention to her situation. Thank God for the power of social media when it is used to speak up for people who cannot fight alone.

And thank God for the reported government intervention. I sincerely hope this girl receives the protection, care, counselling, and justice she deserves.

Because beyond the viral video, there is a young girl whose life has been deeply affected. She needs more than sympathy. She needs sustained support and a safe future.

Let this be a reminder to every community leader, parent, and traditional authority: culture should never become an excuse for cruelty.

Tradition should preserve our humanity, not destroy it.

Customs should not be more important than a child’s life, safety, and dignity.

And if a tradition requires us to abandon an abused child, then perhaps it is time to question that tradition.

No culture, no custom, and no tradition should ever be placed above the safety of a child.

I am angry. I am heartbroken. And I am praying that this girl finds healing, peace, and people who will love and protect her.

May she never have to experience such cruelty again. πŸ™πŸ½πŸ’”

PLEASE, LET US SPEAK UP FOR CHILDREN WHO ARE BEING ABUSED.

Silence protects perpetrators. Speaking up can save lives.
