POV: You went out for a programme, only to discover that the monkeys had their own plans! 🐒😂
So, I went for a programme, and the meetup point was somewhere around the Lekki–Ajah axis in Lagos.
The environment was beautiful, and honestly, you needed to see the beauty of God's creation! The greenery, the trees, the natural surroundings, and the beautiful scenery were a lovely sight to behold. It was one of those moments that reminded me that God truly took His time creating nature. Sometimes, we get so caught up in our daily activities that we forget to pause and appreciate the beautiful things around us. ❤️🌿
Everything seemed normal until we spotted some monkeys! 🐒🐒
Then came the warning that changed the entire atmosphere: "Please, be careful with your belongings. These monkeys can sn**ch your things!" 😭😂
HA! My people, did you hear that?! 😂😂 We came for a programme, not a wrestling match with monkeys!
You needed to see the way everybody suddenly became security-conscious! 🤣 Bags were being guarded like millions of naira were inside them. Nobody wanted to be the person that would go home and explain, "Please, don't be angry, but a monkey collected my property." 😭😭
Imagine now! You leave your house, dress up nicely, prepare for a programme, and the next thing, you're busy monitoring monkeys to make sure your belongings are safe. 😂😂
The funniest part? You couldn't even relax and admire them properly because, in your mind, you're thinking, "This animal is cute o, but please, don't come near my things!" 😭🤣
Nobody was ready to sponsor a monkey's shopping spree that day! Everybody guarded their belongings with their lives. 😂😂
Honestly, Lagos will always have something interesting to show you. Sometimes, you step out for one thing and come back with an entirely different experience to gist about!
But beyond the laughter, it was beautiful to see nature up close and appreciate the wonderful things God has created. From the trees to the animals, there's so much beauty around us if only we take a moment to look. 🌿❤️
