FABRICS CARE PROCEDURES.

Today, we shall be taking a look at stains on garments, as well as some basic precautionary measures.

To Successfully remove stains from garments depends largely on the nature of the stain, the type of fabric, and the colorfastness of the dye. Some fabrics and dyes simply will not withstand the use of cleaning or stain removal agents.
Some stains, like ink, rust and dried paint or blood for example,
can be very difficult or impossible to remove.

PRECAUTION MEASURES

1. Bring a stained garment to us as soon as possible to prevent the stain from becoming permanent.
2. Inform and Show us the location and source of stains as well as any removal procedures you may have attempted before turning to us for help.
3. Never put a garment away for a long time, without it being cleaned.
4. Don’t iron stained or dirty garments, this action will rather drive stains deeper into the fabric. Making it difficult or impossible to be totally removed.
5. Do not dump damped garments in an unventilated compartment, this will cause mildew or mucor stains on garments.
