In this class we will learn how to Draft a basic Trouser blocks

This class is for intermediate/Advance Fashion Designers. You should be able to draft, cut and sew with little or No supervision.

REQUIRED MEASUREMENTS
Band/Waist Circumference
Hip Circumference
Round knee Circumference
Round Ankle Circumference
Waist to Hip
Waist to Knee
Waist to ankle
Waist to Floor

MATERIALS NEEDED
Pattern paper
Tracing whee
Pencils
Curve
Eraser
Fabric of choice and patience to draft and sew

NB: add half or inch seam allowance when transferring pattern to fabric.

Practice makes perfect sew mates, make sure you practice.

STYLE ANALYSIS
It is a panel / pieces blouse with a mandarin collar

📍Add crinoline to the blouse hem to get a more structured wavy effect.
📍Use Interfacing on fabric and lining for fabric stability.
📍Press every seam line as you sew.
For the mandarin collar, use hair stay/collar stay interfacing.

Please note that if you want to install a zipper at the center front, You can add fullness to the waist to hemline or cut straight and add zipper allowance…. Any of these options is fine.
