7 Signs You Don’t Drink Enough Water
Daily water consumption is a healthy habit that every person should incorporate into her routine. But, how do you know if you drink enough water?
This liquid, which is the base of all of our drinks, plays a fundamental role in our health. First off, water is present in the functions of all of our organs.
Its absorption in the body optimizes circulation. Also, it improves the oxygenation of cells. And, it helps to keep our tissues in good condition.
Also, it is essential for the detoxification processes of the excretory system. And, it combines with waste in the body to facilitate its elimination.
The problem is that many people do not drink enough water. And, as a consequence, the body must work much harder to perform its functions.
While at first there are not any side effects,
little by little, dehydration starts to cause symptoms. And, these symtoms can affect your quality of life.
Because of this, it is very important to recognize the signs that you don’t drink enough water. And, after identifying them, increase your liquid intake as soon as possible.
Take note of these signs!
1. Constipation
Constipation is a digestive disorder that has to do with one’s inability, or difficulty, to eliminate f***s from the body on a regular basis.
This triggers an inflammatory reaction in the intestine, alternating the activity of healthy bacteria and provoking the accumulation of excess gas.
It can appear because of poor diet choices. But, it is also frequent in those who do not drink enough water.
This liquid acts as an intestinal lubricant that facilitates the transport of wastes until they are eliminated.
2. Dry skin
The first signs that you don’t drink enough water show in the appearance of dry, dull skin.
Sure, it is true that these symptoms can be produced by external factors. However, you shouldn’t ignore the fact that if you don’t drink enough water, that may be the problem.
Water participates in the correct transport of blood through the veins. This is the key to maintaining optimal production of oils in the skin.
Without water, skin cells start to dry and the regeneration process cannot take place.
3. Dry tongue and mouth
If you don’t drink enough water, dehydration can cause dryness of the tongue and mouth. And, dehydration can reduce saliva production.
This usually starts without a constant feeling of thirstiness that, in general, can be taken care of by drinking water.
4. Under eye bags
Another esthetic issue that comes from drinking too little water is the appearance of bags under our eyes.
This symptom is caused by dehydration since it causes liquid retention and inflammation.
Additionally, if you don’t drink enough water, this interferes with the circulatory system. Basically, dehydration prevents blood from oxygenating the cells correctly.
In conclusion, this inevitably affects your skin health.
5. Muscle pain
Drinking too little healthy liquids, like water, is a factor that influences the recurrence of muscle pain.
Water is essential for balancing the electrolytes in the body, a substance the regulates our muscle health.
Muscles need to be kept hydrated to make them strong and inflammation free.
6. Migraines
Strong head pain, like those you get from migraines, may originate because you don’t drink enough water. .
This is because dehydration affects the body’s ability to oxygenate the cells and transport nutrients. This increases stress and tension in the skull.
Liquids are necessary for keeping the
nervous system functioning properly and for keeping hormonal activity regular.
7. Changes in urination
It isn’t necessary to have a professional take your urine sample to know that the body is dehydrated and urgently needs liquids.
Just analyzing your urination habits can help you see if you are drinking too little water and it is affecting your kidneys.
The person starts to go to the restroom less regularly and, when doing so, the urine has a strong yellow color.
It is possible that, due to the lack of liquid, the smell is stronger than usual.
Sometimes the feeling of needing the restroom may come about, only to get there and have nothing come out.
The tendency to get urinary infections increases an alarming amount.
Do you identify yourself with any of these symptoms? If so, it would do a lot for you to start to drinking more water throughout the day.
Be sure to drink between 6 and 8 glasses a day, in addition to eating hydrating foods like fruits and vegetables.

AMAZING BENEFITS OF KOLA _EXTRACT

The important health benefits of the kola nut include its ability to boost the
metabolism , optimize digestion , increase heart rate, help with weight loss , prevent certain cancers , boost the immune system, protect the respiratory system, raise energy levels, improve cognition, and increase circulation.
What is a Kola Nut?
Although many people are familiar with the word “cola”, they may not realize that the source of that name is actually the Cola genus, which includes the kola tree where the kola nut comes from.
[ 1 ] The tree is native to the tropical rainforests of Africa and contains caffeine, which makes it desirable as both, a food source and an element in alternative medicine for some cultures around the world.
Kola nuts are used as flavoring agents in soda of many varieties, which is where the name “cola” arose. Kola nuts are often chewed or eaten in traditional ceremonies. While its most common application is as the flavoring agent, its medicinal benefits have begun to make it a popular dietary supplement for health, despite its slightly bitter taste.
[ 2 ] Kola nut can be found in energy drinks , dietary supplements, and performance enhancers.
Health Benefits of Kola Nut
Now, let’s take a closer look at some of the health benefits of the kola nut.
Boosts Metabolism
One of the unique effects of the kola nut, largely due to its caffeine content, is its ability to stimulate the body and increase heart rate . While this can potentially be dangerous for people who suffer from pre-existing heart conditions, it can provide a necessary metabolic boost for those with a slow metabolism. This can actually
optimize heart health, as caffeine can be a health stimulant in moderate doses.
[ 3] This also helps the metabolism optimize itself, which has a wide range of positive enzymatic and physiological effects on the body.
Increases Circulation
Kola nuts were traditionally consumed because they “cleared the mind”. By stimulating heart rate and increasing circulation, kola nuts are able to boost oxygenation to certain essential parts of the body, including the skin , organs, and even the brain. This is why kola nuts are sometimes referred to as cognitive boosters, as increased levels of oxygen in the brain have been connected with higher levels of cognition and
concentration .
[ 4 ] This can also promote healing of wounds and cellular repair through the increased flow of oxygen and nutrients.
Improves Digestion
For thousands of years, kola nuts have been chewed or consumed by indigenous cultures in Africa both in ceremonies and in the treatment of digestive problems.
[ 5 ] The active ingredients of the kola nut are able to improve digestion and nutrient uptake, while also reducing
constipation , bloating, cramping, and other, more serious, gastrointestinal issues.
Prevents Prostate Cancer
Although research is still in its early stages and is still a matter of debate in some circles, some of the phytoestrogens and phytoandrogens found in kola nuts are able to
stimulate apoptosis in prostate cancer cells.
[ 6 ] This line of study is relatively new, but applications for other types of cancerous cells are also being explored.
Boosts the Immune System
The roots, stem, and leaves of the kola tree have volatile compounds that can prevent certain bacterial infections in the human body.
[ 7 ] These bacterial infections include those responsible for causing a wide range of respiratory illnesses like bronchitis ,
meningitis , and tuberculosis . Kola nut extracts are available in most health stores, but the nuts themselves have not been directly connected to this medicinal benefit.
Weight Loss
Although caffeine has long been known as an appetite suppressant to a certain degree, kola nut extracts have also been connected with increased fat-burning in the body, possibly due to the positive impact on metabolism that these nuts can have.
[ 8 ] This can be an ideal option for those people who are trying to lose weight or improve the quality of their diet.
