Any man that cannot say I am sorry has no business with marriage..
Marriage is a serious business meant for men and not boys, before u decide to marry, package your bag of ego and throw it inside the river. Your wife is not a slave, she is your other half, she deserves to be treated with respect just like she would do to you.
Women is not everytime you accept gifts as apology, there are some issues that needs to be settled with words and apology, let your heart out and find peace. Accepting gifts where sincere apology need to be tendered is you sweeping the issue under the carpet, I know we like gifts, but let the apology and settlement come first with heart to heart talk before that.
It may interest you to know that many married men can never and will never apologize to their wives, but each time their wife wrong them, they immediately demand an apology, some will even give their wife list of things to bring while coming to apologize as if she is appeasing the gods..
Normally a wife is not supposed to fear her husband, but rather honour and respect him, if your wife is afraid of you, then you have failed as a husband.. 👌
