But Everyone’s Already Said It…

I didn’t notice it at first.

But one day, I scrolled through my content bank,
and every post looked like something I’d seen before.

Same vibe.
Same stories.
Same structure.

It almost made me feel like…
“Why am I even creating? This isn’t new.”

But then I realized something,
Even if the topic isn’t new, your story always is.
Your way of sharing it. Your tone. Your angle. Your experience.
That’s what makes it different.

Take TikTok, for example
Have you noticed how a single topic can have 100 creators talking about it at once?

Let’s use inconsistency as an example.
That one topic? Millions have talked about it.
But people still watch. Still engage. Still share.
Why?

Because it’s not about the topic itself,
It’s about how YOU tell your story around it.

So if you’re sitting on a piece of content thinking:
“Everyone has already said this...”
Please don’t let that stop you.
They haven’t said it like you.

Your voice adds flavor.

You know that feeling when you want to post, but your brain just won’t let you?

“What if it’s not good enough?”
“What if no one cares?”
“What if I mess up?”

You are not alone, I'm there too, we can take a grouping 😂

Overthinking content ideas for days. Sometimes weeks.
I’d open my notes, start typing, then delete.
Start again. Delete again.
Rinse and repeat.

And meanwhile?
No posts.
No engagement.
No growth.

This is what I do now I set a timer for 10 minutes and said, “Just write anything.”
No editing. No deleting. Just get something out.

And you know what? After editing, I post it and you read it. Which is the importance thing.

And I getthe momentum I need.

As a creator, there’s this recurring problem of
“What should I post?”

Honestly? I’ve been struggling with it too.

Coming back to Facebook after being away for a while feels... weird.

Sometimes I feel like I sound like a broken record posting but barely getting any engagement.

And for a while, that made me slow down. I started posting just once a week, waiting for motivation to hit.

But here’s what I’ve learned,

You don’t need motivation. You need honesty.
Just posting.

Talk about your current struggle.

That thing you’re facing right now? That confusion, that fear, that awkward comeback?
It’s content.

People connect with reality. Not polished, not perfect, just real. Do you get it?

So if you’re stuck, start with the truth. That’s what I’m doing.
And maybe… that’s enough.

This scripture right here encourages creativity. 𝐈𝐭 𝐩𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐟 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐞𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐬 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮. So, if you’ve ever thought that creativity is only for a certain type of people, 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠. You might want to change that mindset. Because as a child of God, creativity is your responsibility. It’s part of your calling.

There’s just something about meeting certain people that makes you lose yourself.

You ever meet someone just a regular friend, not a mentor, you find yourself constantly going out of your way for them?

They call, and you drop everything.

You show up immediately.

You give, and give, and give without even thinking twice.

And over time, it starts to feel like you’ve always known them, like they’ve always mattered to you.

But then you begin to notice something: they don’t show up for you the way you do for them.

You’re the one always reaching out.

You’re the one putting in effort.

You’re the one sacrificing.

And when it's your turn, they don’t return the same energy. That hurts.

It starts to make you question your worth like maybe you’re not valuable enough for people to do things for you without being asked or paid.

Maybe you’re not the type people just choose to show up for. But here’s the truth: what’s happening isn’t love, it’s people-pleasing. And trust me, that’s something I’ve had to confront in my own journey.

Please, stop over-pleasing people.

Especially those who don’t see you the same way. Be kind, yes. Be generous, absolutely. But don’t lose yourself in the process. Don’t shrink who you are just to be seen.

If it’s not mutual if they can’t recognize your sacrifices or efforts it’s okay to step back.

And the hard part? It’s not that they’re not capable. They are. They just might be doing those same things for someone else.

So why should you keep emptying yourself for someone who doesn’t even notice?

Let me say this: when you start feeling bitter or used, that’s a sign. That’s how you know you’ve crossed into people-pleasing.

And you’re not doing it because you want attention you’re doing it to preserve the friendship, to sustain the connection.

But if they’re not doing the same, it’s not your burden to carry.

So breathe.

Take a step back.

Let people meet you halfway. You deserve that.🧡

When I started my YouTube channel, my video style was mostly sit-down videos.

Every time I shot a video, I left with one question: What new creative touch can I add to my next video to make it better than this one?

And that question would lead me down a rabbit hole of research. I’d find something new, implement it, and boom my next video would be better.
