WHY IS YOUR BUSINESS NOT GETTING CUSTOMERS?
Before you change your logo, start posting more, or spend money on advertising, you need to find out what the real problem is.
Here are 5 things I would research first:
1. Your target audience
Who exactly are you trying to sell to? If you're speaking to everyone, you may be connecting with no one.
2. Your customers' problems
What does your ideal customer actually need, want, fear, or struggle with? Your marketing should speak directly to those things.
3. Your competitors
What are businesses offering similar products or services doing well? What are they missing? Their gaps may reveal opportunities for you.
4. Your content
Are you creating content based on your customers' interests and problems, or are you simply posting whatever comes to mind?
5. Your offer and positioning
Is it immediately clear what you sell, who it's for, and why someone should choose you instead of another business?
The lesson:
Sometimes your business doesn't need more content. It needs better research and a clearer strategy.
