When your mother asked me to handle your outfits for your dedication, it felt like a sacred trust - I felt so honored in ways that I can’t fully articulate. You see, your mummy and I have known each other for about 16 years and our friendship has gone through so many cycles and stages - even to bringing our parents, your grannies together 💛🧡
You see, your mum is a prolific designer and a stylista - she eats up every outfit she wears and so you can imagine how I felt when she asked me to handle your outfits.
I was there on the day your parents were joined - infact, I was the MC at their wedding. I knew about you when your mummy started feeling your fluttering, when your face was still in her imagination, when she could only see you through a screen - and I’ve loved you from then.
So your dresses were a labour of love - the beginning of my expressions to you and a privilege that I will always cherish.
