They say you can leave a passion but it never leaves you.
After two years shaping minds in the classroom, I'm back to shape fabrics in my studio.
I loved every moment of teaching others but my hands kept remembering the feel of fabric, my heart kept missing the hum of the sewing machine, and my soul kept longing for the moment when a final stitch completes a vision.
So, I'm coming home. Back to my sewing space. Back to the craft that first called my name.
The lecturer has returned to the sewing room with new perspectives, sharper skills, and a deeper appreciation for creating things with my own hands. Teaching taught me patience, precision, and discipline and I am pouring all of that back to my sewing business with renewed passion.
