Final Episode

He waited to gather enough strength to move closer to Carol's bed. He heard foot steps down the corridor. He thought about the nurse and he hide himself.

Miss Lola sneak into the hospital ward and walked into where she saw Mark's name on the door. She pushed the door open and saw a dead nurse lying on the floor. Miss Lola was frightened, she knows that mark has killed the nurse. She ran out immediately, she has come up on time and she must act fast or Carol will be in trouble. She walked through the corridor searching for Carol's name. She stopped when she saw it written boldly on the door plate. She opened the door and darkness filled the room.
Mark saw when miss Lola entered the room. And he hid himself carefully.
It took miss Lola some minutes to understand the room and where the bed is and Carol lying on it. She heard some crawling sound coming towards her. She knows that he was Mark. She brought out the per knife from her bag ready to attack any thing.

Mark grab her hand through the darkness and she swim the knife to the direction of the attack. The knife pitch into his heart and blood pump out. Mark gave a hard cry and knock her down with a stick. Miss Lola fell to the ground and the knife drop from her hand.
Mark crawl to pick the knife. His heart was bleeding heavily and he was very weak. He stay for some minutes trying to build his strength but the more he bleeds, the more strength drain out from his body.
He grabbed the knife and set at Carol. He can see her throat and that was his target. Mark has always been an expert in knife throwing and the opportunity lies before him to finish Carol at once with the knife. He was grateful for miss Lola to bring his favorite weapon.
He held the knife ready to throw.
A man on black appeared before him - Frank.
Too late bro. You have to join me now. The man in Black said and disappeared. The knife fell off from his hand and he breath his last. For some moment silent filled the room. Miss Lola wake up and saw mark dead on the floor and Carol open her eyes she had no idea what was going on with her life. The only thing she can remember is going on a truck and the truck driver making a pass on her and then the accident.

The next day she was discharged. Every thing was new to him. Matt and his woman were there with her but Carol couldn't remember anything or anyone even the story behind her kidnap and the love of her life, Steve. She was welcome to a new life.

The nurse put the box down and walked to his bed side, examining Mark. His face has a restless expression. He should be thinking of something but his eyes closed pretending to be asleep. Another nurse walked in. The two nurses exchange their pleasantries.
How is he doing? Asked the other nurse.
He refused to get better, but I'm sure he will be fine if he agrees to have some rest with sleep.
I guess the poor guy is restless, look at his face. So horrible to look at.
Have you seen the new patient just admitted? Oh she is so cute! What a beauty.
I heard she is daughter of our ex president, Blandish.
Yeah sure, I knew it at once when I saw her red hair. She is Damm cute.

Mark was listening to everything the nurses were saying. If Carol is in the hospital then he has to act fast and finish her. He lies still waiting for the best moments to manifest his plan.

The first nurse left the room and the second one take over from her. Mark opened his eyes and beckons to the nurse to come closer. His lips move but no word came out of it. The nurse drew near to him trying to get the word from his mouth.
Mark used the chance and got hold of her throat with the only hand that was functioning. The nurse struggle for freedom and air but she couldn't over power his strong grip. She died in his hand . Mark pull her away from his body and rolled over to the other side of the bed. He lifted his body but the dead side of it was too heavy for him to move. It took him time to crawl out of the room. He continue crawling through the corridor searching for Carol Blandish name on the door plate. His eyes catch up with it at the end of the corridor. He crawled a little faster than he was. Sweat falling from his face. He pushed the door open.

Carol was lying on the bed. His head plastered. An oxygen Holes connected to her nose. She lay peacefully with eyes closed.

Mark saw her with great desire to strangle her immediately. But he was very weak to pull further. H

The news of the Blandish girl who has been admitted in the hospital gets to miss Lola. She knew at once that Carol was in trouble and she needs help immediatly. Miss Lola decided to travel to the city, she pack few of her things including a per knife. It belongs to Mark. She had no idea why she took it along but she just found it in her bag. At the park station she saw Eric, Mark's father. Miss Lola and Eric has always been lover years ago after the dead of Mark's mother. Eric has fallen in love with his son's maid miss Lola but the fear of Mark has always kept them in secret affairs. Seeing Eric now for a very long time make the two love birds hugs themselves together so long.
They book a room and seat to discuss how life has been with them. Miss Lola told Eric about how Mark and Frank has been so cruel to her and how they have hurt Carol and she tried to help the poor girl but his son deal with her mercilessly.
Eric felt ashamed and sadly announced the dead of Frank to Lola and how Carol has come back on her son, stole his money and caused him to paralyzed. And now he is fighting for his life in the state general hospital.

You mean, Mark is admitted in the state general hospital? Miss Lola asked.
Yeah. Eric reply.
Oh my goodness I have to go safe Carol.
Carol, what happened to her?
She is admitted there too. I have to hurry.
But nothing will happen to her. Mark can't hurt her. He is paralyzed.

Miss Lola pay no attention to Eric. He dash out of the room and run down the busy road.

Matt and Lucy heard about the news of Carol admission in the hospital. They put everything other things aside and prepare to visit her. She needs them now than ever.

Miss Lola gets to the hospital but the security stop her from getting in.

It's closing hours, no visitor is allowed in.

The door bell rang and Carol give an order to come in. The waitress has come to serve her dinner. The door open and someone walked in. Carol was backing him, she didn't turned or move.

Hello ma'am, your dinner is served. Do you care for some wine? The waitress said.
No, you can go. Carol replied.
Okay maybe I should bring you a little whiskey to calm your brain.
I say go.....
Sorry ma'am, I will go but can I know what is inside that bag?
Carol turned and face him. She frowned. Eddie was wearing a Waiter's dress and facing her.
You again? What do you want?
That. Eddie points at the brief case on the floor. It belongs to Frank and what ever belongs to him belongs to Bella. And Bella belongs to me. So it is mine, give it to me. I know you killed Frank, I will not arrest you for that because you make it easy for us for killing him. We even want him dead than alive. Now give me the brief case, you can go away with Mark's own but not that of Frank.

Get out! Carol shouted.

No need to shout young lady. I have been gentle with you. Or do you want me to call the police for you, and you will go to jail for killing And thief. I want it done amicably or I will show you the other part of me. I'm not Frank.

Eddie make a step closer to the brief case. Carol stood up and rush on him. They both begins to attack each other. Carol fight him like a tiger. Eddie was afraid to loose the fight. Though he didn't expect Carol to be this powerful. He hit her like a man. Carol use her finger and put them right inside his lift eyes.

My eyes! Oh my eyes!! Eddie cried. His left eye begins to bleeds. Eddie crap a stool and see the opportunity to save his life from the tiger he thought he is fighting with. He Hit her on the head and Carol fall to the ground and pass out.

Every where was scattered. The brief cases where broken and money where seen splashing every where in the room.

A knock came into the door and the bar man rushed in. He freeze at the scene before him. The bundles of money on the floor make him want to scream and his eyes catch the body of Carol on the floor.

Eddie is she dead? He asked.

I don't know... she wanted to kill me. I was defending myself. Look at me, she blind my left eyes. She is a tiger.

I don't bloody care! Do you know what you have done! This hotel is going to be shut down! You have commit mouder here.

A name plate hang on the entrance of the room. Every patient room has the patient name on it. MARK ERIC was boldly written. Inside the room Eric is seen sitting next to his son Mark. His eyes fixed on him, a little fear and pity mixed feeling appears on his face. He has failed as a father for ever raising his son on this way of life. It was obvious Mark has always wanted everything in his own favor at all times until he starts taking people things and from there he became a professional thief. His bond was complete when he met Frank his partner in crime and the two turned to professional killers. He wished he can turn back the hands of time now but it was too late.

Mark opened his eyes, one side of his mouth drop. Every part of that side was dead. He couldn't move or feel anything.
The stroke has taken all the comfort he wants. The shock he got when he discovered his money was missing landed him in stroke and here he is wishing to set his eyes on Carol. He will used his last breath to squeeze life out of her.

Carol walked into the hotel with two brief case, with a name tag of Mark and Frank respectively written on each of it. She walked into the reception waiting for her turn to book a room.

Eddie was drinking in the bar when he saw a girl walked into the reception. She looks very pretty to look at and he made a move, ready to shoot his shot.

Hi pretty girl..
Carol recognized him. And get up from him.
C'mon girl, don't go. You look familiar, have I met you before?
Let me go! Out of my way!! Carol warned.
Easy, not so fast. I knew it! I have seen you before. You are Mary Ann. You killed Frank and you change your self to this. I know you!

Carol push him out of the way and walked in to meet with the receptionist to show her her room. Eddie saw the brief case and the name of Frank and Mark written on each of it.

F**k! That's Frank and Mark property. This girl is a thief. She can't get away with this. I must get her.
He walked back to the bar and whisper few words to the bar man.

Mark walked into the hospital. He was directed to the male ward by a nurse. He meets Frank on the bed. His head plastered.

"S... she is o... out there.." Frank struggle with words.

You are a fool for ever getting into her trap. Mark cursed.

Frank tried to say out some few words, blood dripping from his mouth, his eyes wide open and he breath his last.

Mark Walked out from the hospital with fixed feelings. Angry and excited.

Angry at his late friend for getting Carol catch up with him. Excited because he is going to take every money they worked together for. After the killing of steeve, the militant brothers has planned to quit the job and start a business with their savings. And now one of them is dead, Mark is happy because he is taking everything for him self.

He opened his car door and got in. A note appeared on his seat.

" You are next" he reads.

I will kill you with my bare hands" Mark said on top of his voice.

Frank was a fool and lover of women but not him. He sees women as food. Not important but necessary.

He drove to the bank and collect all the money they have been saving. They have agreed to share the money after the have killed Steve. Their plans was to quit their job and start a business with their savings. Now one of them is dead, the whole money belongs to Mark.

It takes him a long drive to get to the next city where his father, Eric is leaving.

Eric was surprised to see his son that evening. He has heard of Frank's dead and he feels pity for him. He wished Mark will change after the dead of his colleague and the militant brothers will never exist again.

Mark came out with two brief case with their names written on it respectively. One belongs to Frank and one to mark. He greeted his father and went into his room and kept the two brief case and then came out and meet his father in the sitting room.

The old man struggle to get something for his son. His left leg dragging on the floor, a result of stroke. Eric has had a stroke when he heard of his wife death. The shock make him fall into stroke. The sickness that runs in their linage.

Mark was discussing with his father when he heard the dog barking.

Something was troubling the dog. Mark go out to check. He saw a shadow jump off the fence. He put on the light but the person has gone. He run down to his room and meet the door open. He rushed into where the two brief case where kept but it was not there.

Two weeks later, Mary Ann start working for Bella Leo. She comes every morning and leave in the evening, reading and taking care of her blind lover Frank. When ever Bella is going out with her gi**lo boyfriend Eddie, Mary had a private chat with her new blind boss.

How are you feeling today sir? She asked.
I'm fine, but I wish I can see again. Frank answered.
What happened to your eyes?
She blinded me, she is a devil!

Carol Blandish. If I have the opportunity to get her, I will kill her!

In a hotel. at the reception. Eddie was drinking from his wine glass. He was deep in thought. After the incident that occurred when his last visit to Bella he hasn't heard from her. He was worried over her. He wished to go see her but he feared the dangerous looking man that had his hand cuted with a knife.

A lady walked into the hotel and went to the meet with the manager. She said something to him and Eddie can hear everything.
" Please I'm looking for a job, the girl said.
What nature of job, the manager asked.
Where I can take care of sick people, old people or blind people. My name is Mary Ann. Here is my card.

Eddie look at the girl, she was beautiful with a slender build body. With a long dark hair that fall to her waist region.
" What will a beautiful girl like this be going for a part-time job" he asked the manager after she have left.
She needs the money, do you know of any old person or a blind person?
Eddie shock his head. No.

A call interrupted their discussion.
