GIM’S EXCLUSIVE MAKES BOLD STATEMENT AT NOIR FASHION WEEK IN NAIROBI

Nigerian fashion designer and Chief Executive Officer of GIM’S Exclusive, Joel Nnamso Thomas has strengthened Nigeria’s presence on the African fashion scene with a striking appearance at the 2026 Noir Fashion Week in Nairobi, Kenya.

Young Joel was among the designers who showcased their creative works at the international fashion platform,which brought together designers, fashion enthusiasts, industry stakeholders and dignitaries from different parts of Africa and beyond.

The Nairobi edition of Noir Fashion Week was held from August 6 to 8 under the theme, “The African Code,” placed emphasis on African identity, heritage, craftsmanship and contemporary luxury,with Nairobi serving as a melting point for emerging creative voices and international fashion interests.

From Uyo to New York and now Nairobi,Joel's journey reflects the growing ambitions of a new generation of Nigerian designers determined to take African fashion beyond local runways.

The Nairobi showcase has consequently added another chapter to the GIM’S Exclusive story and further positioned him among the emerging designers contributing to the changing face of contemporary African fashion.
