Calvary greetings to you all in Jesus name AMEN. It is with Jesus' joy in my heart that I gracefully welcome you to year 2021,a year of abundant knowledge. I pray this year favour us despite the global pandemic raveging our society.

Dear brothers and sisters, coaches and Participants, supporters and well wishers. It is on a sad note that we indefinitely suspend the maiden edition and final of Ibom Bible Bowl 2020 due to the upsurge of the second wave of the global pandemic, Covid19.

Directives have been given to the state Coordinators of Bible Bowl Nigeria in Bayelsa, Kano, Plateau and Akwa Ibom State to stop further arrangements being put in place for the Bible Bowl maiden edition in Nigeria.

The Zonal Coordinator, Amb. Cardinal Joseph Effiong Dominion and his led exco in charge of Ibom Bible Bowl Akwa Ibom State deeply regret the discontinuing of the grand finale of Ibom Bible Bowl and apologizes for any inconveniences this suspension might caused, especially to those who made it to finals and promise to compensate them (the four teams) before the junior and senior category of the Bible Bowl commence. Once again, please accept their apology.

On my part as a state Coordinator with the help of my moderators,we apologise that we cannot continue due to the directives given to us by the Zonals but promise to follow up and make sure that the four last teams are duely compensated.

It is pertinent therefore to state here that this is not the fault of anybody that the final could not take place as planned.
Please, we should not cast a stone on anyone here,also, this group will be locked for now till further directives and information are being given for further continuation.

Finally,I want to appreciate the efforts of all the team members, coaches and Moderators who made Ibom Bible Bowl a success and we should always note that READING THE BIBLE EVERYDAY MAKES THE DIFFERENCE IN EVERYWAY.

GOOD MORNING BELOVED BRETHREN, I SALUTE YOU ALL WITH JESUS JOY AND PEACE IN ACCORDANCE OF THIS SEASON, AND I HOPE WE ALL ARE DOING WELL?

I ONCE AGAIN APPRECIATE ALL THE TEAMS WHO HAS TAKEN PART IN THIS YEAR'S EDITION OF THE FIRST EVER IBOM BIBLE BOWL IN THE STATE!

IT IS ON THIS NOTE THAT I HAVE TO BRING TO THE NOTICE OF ALL THE MODERATORS, COACHES AND PARTICIPANTS OF IBOM BIBLE BOWL 2020 THAT OUR FINALS WOULD NOT BE TAKING PLACE THIS SATURDAY, 12TH DECEMBER, 2020 AS PROMISED!

THERE ARE ONLY TWO MAJOR REASONS FOR THE SUDDEN SHIFT OF THE FINALS:

1. THE SPONORS: AFTER DELIBERATION WITH THE CHIEF SPONORS AND OTHER BODIES INVOLVED DIRECTLY WITH THE BIBLE BOWL, IT BECAME NECESSARY TO SHIFT THE EVENT DUE TO THE ABSENCE OF THE SPONORS. THEY ARE OUT OF THE COUNTRY FOR AN OFFICIAL DUTY. THEIR PRESENCE ARE NEEDED BECAUSE THEY WILL BE THE ONES TO GIVE OUT THE AWARDS AND DECLARE IBOM BIBLE BOWL 2021 OPEN!

2. THE VENUE: THE VENUE BOOKED FOR THIS EVENT HAS NOT BEEN APPROVED YET DUE TO THE ABSENCE OF THE BODY IN CHARGE OF THIS EVENT! THE FINALS WOULD SEE THE GIVING OF AWARDS TO SOME DIGNITARIES AND OUTSTANDING TEAMS, SO WE NEEDED A PLACE EASY TO LOCATE WITHIN THE TOWN.

I PLEAD WITH ALL OF US TO PLEASE EXERCISE PATIENCE AND CONTINUE READING AS WE AWAIT THE RETURN AND THE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE NEW DATE AND VENUE FOR THE FINALS.

I SINCERELY APOLOGISE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCES THIS SHIFT MIGHT CAUSE AND I PRAY GOD THAT WE UNDERSTAND WITH THE ORGANIZERS AS WE WAIT FOR FURTHER INFORMATION FROM OUR ABLE SPONORS!
