Tailor’s Chronicle

Customer came for her dress.

She wore it, admired herself in the mirror, smiled from ear to ear and said,

“I love it! This is exactly what I wanted.”

She happily paid, collected her dress and left.

A few hours later…

My phone rang.

“Hello, I want to adjust the neckline.”

I asked, “Didn’t you love it when you picked it up?”

She laughed.

“I did o… but when I got home, my sister said the neckline should be higher. My aunt said the sleeves should be longer. My friend said the dress would look better without the slit. Even my neighbor had a suggestion.” 😂

I couldn’t help but laugh.

The dress didn’t change…

The opinions did. 🤣✂️

Moral of the story: If you truly love your outfit, don’t let a committee of spectators convince you that you don’t. Sometimes the loudest opinions aren’t the best ones.
