My love for decorating and creating started on this Island. Think of our Carnival! As a little girl I always went with my brother to his performances at the hotels. I often saw the best costumes. Once at home, I wanted to create them all on for my doll . Thus arose the craziest combinations of scraps of fabric, beads and buttons. This urge has never left. dmade bags, purses, jewelery and all kinds altered projects, kits and more surprise items that change each time to tickle your imagination. Each item is unique and tells its own story. My entire collection is built around the term 'enrichment'. Enrichment in the sense of special fabrics and bold colors, but especially in the exuberant use of decorations. Even the smallest purse can not escape. The fabrics and trims that I used, usually have led a life before being used by me. Think of an old brooch that has decorated the chest of an elegant lady for years or an canvas mailbag who's transported love letters and reminders. The materials have a soul, a story. But what's their story? It's this mystery that constantly stimulates my imagination to design. It is the hidden story that makes my creations. God bless,
