October is birthday month for both and me, so what better time to announce something we’ve been cooking up together! 🎂🎉
Introducing JULAHAS x Arti Sandhu — a playful new knitwear collection that began, believe it or not, with a pair of colourful Himachali socks from Arti’s personal collection.
With Arti’s wonderfully individual sense of style and the knitting skills of our women artisans at , those socks found a whole new expression as a series of knitted bibs.
The collection is coming soon, but we couldn’t contain our excitement.

Mermaid magic is back!

Our Green Fuchsia Wool Silk fabric is fresh off the loom and just restocked! With its beautiful iridescent shimmer that shifts between green and fuchsia, it’s easy to see why we call it our Mermaid fabric. A small batch production by our partners at Pyoli 😍

Every piece in this collection has already lived two lives before it reaches you.
First as a saree, worn through the moments we call life. Then as a quilt, stitched together by hand by women in India, layer upon layer, using a simple running stitch. Kantha was never about perfection to these communities. It was about love and making the most of what you have.
Now, these vintage quilts find their third life as Julahas vests and jackets. The faded colours, the irregular hand stitches, the patches, the signs of age, we’ve kept all of it. Each piece is unique, special and tell the stories of love passed down from one generation to another.

Amsterdam, we’re bringing friends! After popping up together in New York in July, we thought: why should NYC have all the fun?

From September 29 to October 5, JULAHAS & Zuri are taking over Prinsengracht 234 for a whole week.

Come try things on, play with layers, dive into colour and feel the fabrics. Discover pieces you may never have picked online. Meet us, ask questions, hear the stories behind what we make — and simply spend some time with us.

And because we believe a pop-up can be about more than shopping, we’ve invited a few wonderful people into the space too, including Shop Binti from Antwerp. Plus, there’s a lot to do during our action-packed week 👇 We’d love to see you.

We’re naming this one after my aunt Bina. She had a linen shirt she’d loved and worn for years — so much that it was finally wearing out. She couldn’t find anything quite like it, so she sent me a photo and asked, “Can you make me one?”

I had the fabric on stock and with the tailoring skills of Firoz bhai, he created a shirt just like the one she loved. This button back top fit Julahas’ philosophy of doing more with less – a reversible hemline and buttons at the back made this shirt versatile and playful, so you can wear it both ways. Now available in two sizes.

A hole? A tear? Worn to bits? Don’t give up on it just yet!

Bring your well-loved clothes and extend their life-cycled at our Visible Mending Workshop with De Steek during the Julahas Amsterdam Pop-Up and learn how to repair and keep wearing the pieces you already love.

We’ll start with the basics — simple hand stitches, sewing on a button and easy mending techniques — before you put your new skills to work on a garment of your own, with guidance from the De Steek team. No previous mending experience needed.❤️

So this is what happens when Dutch art meets Indian embroidery 🙌
For our new collaboration with we took inspiration from some very familiar names — Van Gogh, Mondrian and Vermeer — and translated elements of their visual language into embroidery, something the Yogi team knows a thing or two about.
Think Van Gogh’s swirling movement, Mondrian’s bold geometry and Vermeer’s dreamy blues — all reimagined through Indian handwork on relaxed Julahas silhouettes.
There are no literal paintings here, but we still think every piece is a little work of wearable art: full of colour, texture, craft and heritage.
The Indo-Dutch Embroidery Capsule launches tomorrow. Which artist would you wear?
