A full circle moment ❤️

Last year in London, we nervously introduced our Kantha × Banarasi collection.

Today, women across the world are wearing sarees that once lived entirely different lives in India.

If you'd told us that old sarees would travel further than most of us ever have, we'd have laughed.

Yet here we are.

Still slightly emotional. Still slightly surprised. Still incredibly grateful.

To Amsterdam, with love ❤️

Somewhere between laughter, homesickness, food, culture, identity, and storytelling… we thought it would be nice to bring people together around all of it.

So on 14 June, Surmeyi joins us in Amsterdam from the US for an evening with Rashi Agarwal making us laugh through the chaos, Tasty Talks creating something special around food, and all of us gathering for conversations, stories, and connection.

Honestly, it would be more of a room full of people who will probably end up staying longer than planned ❤️

An old picture of me with my children opened this carousel.
At that time, I had become a mother to my daughter, to this little boy in my arms… (35 days old) and somewhere in between, also to Fifth Origins 🙂
And this year, to RUAA too. .u.a.a._official

But while making this post, I kept thinking about how nurturing exists in so many forms.

In mothers teaching daughters how to weave.
In women raising sons to become kind men.
In grandmothers protecting entire generations with tired hands.
In communities quietly holding life together.
In people nurturing animals, friendships, dreams and each other.

You don’t have to be a mother
to nurture life ❤️
