Beloved women,
I am filled with excitement and joy as I start a new chapter in my life with the launch of Aikō. It is the beginning of a journey that has been long in the making and fueled by love, passion, creativity, and an unwavering belief in the power of dreams. Aikō is not just a venture but a testament to my dreams and my resilience as a human, woman, mother, and immigrant.
As I embark on this entrepreneurial adventure in the world of fashion, I am reminded of the countless women who have shattered glass ceilings and carved out their place in a world that often tries to confine them, women who have juggled countless roles, balancing the demands of motherhood with their own aspirations and dreams, women who challenged norms. Their courage and resilience inspire me to push beyond my comfort zone, dare greatly, and embrace womanhood and the unknown with open arms. Therefore, Aikō is not only about fashion but also about womanhood.
Although things will not be perfect as I am still learning about entrepreneurship, I hope you will bear with me. And together, we will defy expectations, lift each other up, break boundaries, and dress up mindfully to create a better future. So, here’s to new beginnings, to chasing dreams, and to the infinite possibilities that lie ahead.
