Dear Funhouse Family,With a mix of excitement and a hint of nostalgia, I'm announcing my final edition as your co-host at FunHouse XXL - the Pride edition happening on Saturday, August 3rd. But first, let's take a trip down memory lane.Back in 2010, a spark ignited an idea in me – an idea for a party like no other, a party called FunHouse.I teamed up with my friend Jan to develop the concept, and we found the perfect partner in Edgar Bonte and Boudewijn van Sante (Rapido Events). I still remember the magic of the moment in a club when I heard a set that captivated me. "Who's that?" I asked the bartender. "Sharon Olove," he replied. Her music became the heartbeat of our party.From there, I scouted many other talented DJs, stylists, and dancers, and together we created a party that became a huge success. I still remember our first edition in March 2011, and how we've grown to become one of Amsterdam's biggest and most popular gay parties.Now, it's time for me to move on to new adventures. While this will be my last time co-hosting, Funhouse will continue to thrive under the fantastic leadership of Edgar and Boudewijn at Rapido Events. I am eternally grateful to them, to all of you – our amazing crowd – and to the friends and talented individuals who helped make my dream a reality.So, mark your calendars for Saturday, August 3rd, our 80thth edition! and let's make this Funhouse an unforgettable celebration of everything we've built together.
