Dear (still unknown) 2026, welcome.

A few mixed moments with the
studio, life, family, work, real time… real people ♥️ ( saved in my phone’s favorites )

Wishing everyone a healthy peaceful new year,
and that each of us finds what we’re truly looking for, in our own way.

This year, I hope we or at least i care more about how things are made.
Where our money goes.
What we choose to support.
Because everything matters. And our children are watching.

For now, I’m here.
With my hands. With my work. With intention.
No big plan.

The studio stays open until mid-February.

Over 25 hours of work, fully lined with a quilted blanket warm, structured, and detailed with care.

Hello December…

but first, November.
A meaningful month in many ways. Here are some snapshots with me, with you, and with the custom work we created together.. a project that deserves its own mention (coming in the next days). Thank you.

I’m grateful for every message, every visit, every order and every conversation. It reminded me again that slow design still has a place.

Made-to-order and custom pieces are available until December 16th for delivery before Christmas. Only two spots available.
I’ll continue again from January 3rd.

And yes… let’s choose warmth and real materials this winter.
I hardly see handmade on the street anymore and I think that’s a pity. Handmade isn’t just a word.. you can see it and feel it immediately. It shows in the details, in the weight, in the care.

A few ready-to-wear pieces will most probably come online in the new year as well. Slowly and with intention, as always.

If you want something special for you or someone you love, I’m here to assist.

Let’s make warm and meaningful things this season.
Not rushed, not seasonal… just true and beautiful.

Created from a collected 70s cotton sleeping bag and reworked into a quilted jacket with two lives.
Patterned outside, warm cinnamon within, with quiet details stitched here and there.

Mr Cramer on you.
A few days ago, dear Jo (a handicraft herself) came to the studio for her custom wool coat… she tried nearly everything, yet somehow she kept returning to Mr Cramer.
While looking through the little book I made about the story of the Cramer coat, I asked her to do something different to keep the coat on, and walk with me a few meters from the studio to the house where this blanket once lived.
Mr Bras’ home.
I had been imagining this quick photograph for a long time… the door, the tiny sustainable home, the quiet Amsterdam street.
And I feel it all aligned. A perfect match.

from blanket to beauty.
made from a vintage 60s dutch wool blanket in rouge and salmon pink, with its original cream blanket stitching. The wool feels like mohair warm and soft.
this blanket was a welcome gift to our amsterdam studio from our neighbour, and we transformed it into the coat you see today.
handmade, detailed, and one of a kind.
