Studio Ten Kate is an Amsterdam-based label. Committed to sustainability and fabric obsessed, we create contemporary pieces made from h**p.

Studio Ten Kate was founded in Amsterdam during the pandemic in 2021 by sisters Annemarie and Caroline Baurdoux. Working in sustainable fashion for over 20 years and concerned with the huge environmental and social impact of the fashion industry, we decided to launch our own brand with h**p at its core.

Within the realm of sustainable fashion we always found that h**p was not being used to its full potential. Carrying the stigma of being scratchy and rough, the world had not yet caught up on the latest treatments and blends that can make h**p a true luxury fabric. As a fabric it’s versatile, durable and highly comfortable to wear, as a crop it regenerates the earth and pulls carbon out of the air. We are convinced the ancient fabric h**p is the fabric of the future.
