Independently owned, and socially-aware brand: with exclusive designs in which we donate to wildlife, to lgbtq+ youths, and other causes we feel are important to us. We also use recycled plastic in the creation of our backpacks to create a more sustainable product and generate less waste.

An Akumu Ink design can take anywhere from an hour to a few weeks to create. This design definitely took me a few sessions to complete. You can see from my sketch that the original idea was quite simple, but as I added on layers of wires and electricity, the image revealed itself to me as something way more interesting.

I found this old review from 2008

“it’s [a] black [t-shirt] again, and I’m started to worry that their “all black” tee shirts collection will get tired soon.”

Well, almost 20 years later and over 500 designs all on black t-shirts seem to have proved otherwise 🖤
